Filters don’t work with query layers in a map element

I use a query layer in a dashboard (Portal 10.8.1). When I set it as a target for a filter action, it works in all elements but the map one.

Indicators and charts would filter accordingly. However, in the map element, the query layer disappears if I create a filter action with it as a target.

Any ideas about how to fix that ?

Do you have it added as a Map Image or Feature Layer? Map Image layers don't always respond in Map elements the way a Feature Layer does.
