Blank Default Values in Indicators when opening DB

Hello All.

We have a fairly straightforward dashboard, that mainly features indicators that display data from hosted feature tabular only tables.  There are two lists, the first filters the options displayed in the second list, while the second list zooms the map and filters the widgets.

When the dashboard is first opened or refreshed, BEFORE a list selection is made, there are values in the indicators.

Would there be a way to set indicators to a null or blank value before a list filter selection is made?  The data seems misleading as there are values displayed before users make a selection, as there is no indicator to where this data comes from.

Thanks!

This is something we would also like to see also. I agree with Jed Jackson‌. Very confusing for users to see content before they make a selection... If not currently possible, this would be a great enhancement. Thanks, Jamie.

Hi Jed and Jamie,

> Would there be a way to set indicators to a null or blank value before a list filter selection is made?

This is currently not possible in Operations Dashboard. Please vote for the enhancement on the ArcGIS Ideas site, Allow "No Data on Opening of Dashboard" Option for Gauges/Indicators

Hope this helps,

Hi Jamie,

> Do you know if this idea is getting any love? Original post is October 2018...

Not sure what you're asking. It currently has 14 votes and we do have it on our "under consideration" list of enhancements.

Hope this helps,
