Hello ArcGIS Dashboards team and fellow users,
I’d like to request a new feature for ArcGIS Dashboards—an option to manually reorder categories in charts without needing to create additional fields. Currently, the only methods to order charts seem to be by statistical values or alphabetically. However, many of the workarounds I've found involve creating entirely new fields, which is cumbersome and creates additional, unnecessary complexity for my organization.
A more user-friendly approach would be the ability to drag and drop categories directly within the "Category Axis" or "Series" panels. This would greatly streamline the process and make it more intuitive for users who want quick customization of chart displays.
Is there any possibility of including this functionality in future updates? It would make dashboard management much more efficient.
