We need the ability to sort a table ascending and descending by clicking on the field name header. I know I can set a default sort value for the table, but I don't want to have 5 tables stacked just so my users can view records sorted by different columns.

Agreed!

Totally agreed! And while you're at it, why not let users choose which fields they want to show/hide?

agreed, please work on this functionality. Allow users to sort table records and also filter for specific records in a column.

Hello everyone. My team is exploring dashboard configurations with the ArcGIS GIS Request Management Solution. The ability to sort fields ascending/descending in the table widget would be a  very useful enhancement for my team and I.

Agreed!!! Lots of clients wanting this ability!

Yes, please! This is essential to our work as is searching in a table.

Just discovered this capability doesn't exist while working on a professional development project, but I can't imagine having to explain to a client that, No, unfortunately, you can't do something so absolutely fundamental as sort the data in the table. Looking forward to seeing this functionality implemented soon!

It would be very useful to allow the user to select which column they want to sort the table by and to change it to ascending or descending depending on their requirements.

USER SORT IN DASHBOARD TABLES IS ABSOLUTELY NEEDED!!! It is to the point where with many clients, its requested that there are 2 views in for app - clients want to sort on all columns:

1.) for the dashboard table visuals with advanced formatting (which EXB lacks)

2.) for the sort and many (more) filter options that come with EXB table widget.

Either allow advanced formatting in the EXB table or allow sort in Dashboard table

please

it is expected that dashboard/EXB is a replacement for excel, but you're lacking the most basic and important capabilities of excel! @patrickb
