A ticker-tape feed widget for Ops Dashboard ?

I've had a look around and as yet haven't come across a ticker-tape type data feed option that could be utilized in Ops dashboard, or other web map/app. Potentially this could be used to give the latest news updates or broadcasts on incidents.

If any of you have come across a pre-prepared solution please let me know.

Supporting a ticker-tape feed natively in dashboards is not something that we are considering at this time, but we do have many customers who have leveraged our embedded content element as a workaround. This dashboard (designed for use on a mobile phone) shows this workaround.
