New Collector not allowing edit option after I download my map.

I have a map that was working great in old collector, but the field team wanted the polygons labeled. SO I switched to the New Collector on our 4 iPads. Now when they open the same map as before, they can make edits but after they download the map onto the iPad the edit option disappears. See the pictures attached.
Other maps that have points instead of polygons are working fine.
