I have used the ESRI Collector Classic app to stream line data on iphones and ipads across Central California.  I am using the same devices in Southern California (LA & Orange County) but having problem streaming line data.  Collector app regularly displays a warning that is is outside of accuracy range. When the accuracy is outside of range the stream functionality will not work, and the only way to submit line data is to draw points.  Is this poor location accuracy expected in certain regions, or could there be another issues that is causing the problem?  Any input is greatly appreciated.

Hi Krista - You should be able to get better accuracy in Southern CA using the built-in GPS of an iPhone/iPad. A number of things factor into the accuracy, including by not limited to how clear your view is of the sky (minimal tree canopy, for example), how close you are to tall buildings, if the device has had time to get a good GPS fix in the new location, and available cell and Wi-Fi networks. You should see the same accuracy in the Maps app of the phone... are you seeing the same bad connection for it there?
