Error "Edit Not Applied" when collecting with the Collector app (Android)

I have a service that I am publishing in ArcGIS online. I can collect on any of my published layers with my iPhone collector app but when we try to use our Android phone it will only collect on one layer. We keep getting the error messsage "Edit not Applied" with the Android app.
Has anyone run into this issue? The Android phone is a new phone with the latest software.
Any info would be a huge help.

I created a trouble ticket for this issue and here is an update from ESRI for anyone that might be running into this same issue.

This is from a really helpful support analyst named Julia:
"As I mentioned in my e-mail, this bug has just been reported within in the last couple of months (so I would imagine it is specific to one of the major updates). Looking at the details of the bug it seems like the behavior is reproducible with multiple Android users & has been marked as high severity. The bug has also already been exported to our development team which means that a fix is currently being worked on."

I did ask her to pass on to this to the development team "it is great if you guys fix this bug in the new 10.2 version but you must also create a patch for the many users that will still be using 10.0 a nd 10.1. We are 6 months to a year away from upgrading to 10.2 and we need a patch that can be applied to the older and current versions."

I'm having this issue right at this moment.

I can seem to use ESRIs demo maps just fine when it comes to adding and placing points. But when I try to use a map that I created with AGO - I get the edit not applied error.

Can you share that hosted service and I can take a look at it. Did you enable sync on the service?

I ended up deleting that service and re-publishing WITHOUT the sync enabled. I can edit my web map in AGO, but for some reason it's not showing up as an available map in my Collector app.

I uninstalled and re-installed and cleared my cache - but I don't think Collector is syncing with My Content correctly. It's still showing the old (deleted map), but when I try to click on the old map it won't open because it's been deleted.

But it's just won't find the new map.

The Online team is currently looking into this issue which is causing the delay in content showing up. It will appear but the time it takes can vary.

Thank you. I'd say it took about 3 or 4 hours, but once it did show up, I was able to edit without getting the error. I did turn OFF the sync in the "Item Descriptions" page.

Any word yet on a fix?  I am experiencing this on an Android device as well.

The other issue that keeps repeatedly coming up is "Popup contains invalid value".  Any help is appreciated.

The only thing that helped me with the error was turning off sync in the item description properties. Have you tried that yet? I did republish my services at the same time, so that could have helped as well.
