Hello,

I'm wondering wwhat happens to my exported cities. If I create a city and export this model to obj everything is fine. If I open the exactly same scene next day and export again I'll get some failures at the streets. Some sidewalks are missing and I got some holes in my model the houses still looking fine. I tried it with different rules and export settings but it won't work.
So far I evaluated cityengine and it fit's nearly perfect into the workprogress of my company. The last open point is this problem. Hope somebody can help me.

Thanks.

Hi !

In this list : http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/64843-CityEngine-Collection-RESOURCES-FAQ-HELP , go and find the thread on the 'Wobble' effect.

This will help you.

Let me know if questions remain ! 😉

Hello Matthias,

I know about the wobble effect. But thats not my problem. As I said, this happens only if I save my files, close City Engine, restart it and open the file. If I export now I get some failures, some faces just are gone. Insde City Engine the scene looks pretty fine.

Cheers

Hi !

I see.

Can you post some screenshots (before - after) or a broken down scene file with rule with which you can reproduce the issue ? I'll need some more inputs to track this down ..

Let me know ..
