Good afternoon,
Does anyone know the best way to represent the temperature in an area in CityEngine?
Thank you
Hi,
how would you need to show the temperatures precisely?
btw.
I'd use an attribute and link it to the color... there's also color ramps you can use in CGA for mapping colors in a value range.

Thanks for the answer,
Do I need to identify the changes in temperature in buildings and the rest through colors?
This is all with a source in solar radiation, and also if possible represent the "intensity" or "intensity" angle of the solar radiation. can you tell me where I can see examples or someone who can specifically help me.
Thank you

Hi,
Typically, people run this type of analysis in ArcGIS Desktop, via the GP Tools...
With the new CE functionality you can quantitatively analyze this, but I suppose you need precise values.
--> Check the 3D Analyst extention for ArcGIS.

Good evening,
I wanted to run in the cityengine, because if it is possible to perform
shadow changes, it could also be possible to parse this type of constect,
since I wanted to do the analysis with the modeled buildings.
If I knew about projects with this type of study, I would ask them to show
me.
Thank you so much

This type of analysis was just added to CityEngine with the latest release (2 weeks ago). I'd say you'll be the one of the first people to push a project with this functionality!

Thank you for your help,
In this thesis, the files are inserted as temperature inputs and with old techniques.
My initial question is whether CityEngine calculates the temperature and the radiation in the created models. Or if I have to put input data and only makes it easier for me to analyze.
I would very much like to be able to answer this question.
Thank you
No, CityEngine can't do these calculations currently.
I´m not sure but, maybe it´s a combination of:
