Hi,

I've recently downloaded and installed CityEngine 2013.  I had 2012 already installed.  I kept receiving the attached messages.

I tried removing the .CityEngine folder from my user drive.  I also removed both 2013 and 2012 from my machine and reinstalled 2013 alone.  Still i'm receiving the errors.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Jeremy

So our concurrent licensing works now for 2013 (not sure what changed), however, when I open CityEngine it takes 2 concurrent licenses at once, so our second user can't access. Any workaround other than a standalone license??

Hi Kevin,

That's a known issue. We're working on a service release that should be released shortly.

Hi Matt,

Any ETA on the new release, we are getting more and more customers with this issue who only have concurrent licenses.

There was a new release posted on March 17 that addresses this fix. See the post below.

http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/104738-Esri-CityEngine-2013.1-Service-Release-posted-to-Customer-Ca...

It did fix the licensing issue for us.

We now see issues with performance after installing the SR. Have anyone else notice this?

hi ..

the SR should not be affected by anything speed related. only 2 small things got fixed.

Maybe try creating a new workspace. That's a good thing to do from time to time anyway.

Please stay tuned for CE2014, which should arrive soon.
