Hello,
I have shapes that consist of numerous faces. Originally, the shapes were created as Multipatches when Polygon-Features were draped over an elevation servace. I want seperate the shapes in two geometric objects using CGA in CityEngine:
- Along the outer edges of the shape: extruded cuboids
- Inner area: extruded area
I tried different approaches (comp, offset, ..), but I coud not figure out how to derrive only the outer edges of the entire shape, instead of the edge of every single face of my shapes...
