Hi!

I have extracted Viewer.xap (from Esri Viewer for Silverlight) and found dlls inside.
They all must have been compiled with the target framework for Silverlight.

Could they be used in a Silverlight project?
Is this legal and possible?
Are there any licences for those libraries?
Any documentation and donwnload link?

Thanks
Ali

While the question of legality can probably be answered here on this forum, I believe you're referring to the Silverlight Viewer, which is not the subject of this forum (ArcGIS API for Silverlight).

You want: http://forums.arcgis.com/forums/211-ArcGIS-Viewer-for-Silverlight

Hi Lance,

Thanks for the hint.

I will give some more details about my project.

I am working on an enterprise Silverlight application. There we use prism framework. Newly we decided to add a gis part.
There we need similar things as it is available in Silverlight Viewer.
To implement this module we use Esri API for Silverlight.

Esri Silverlight Viewer is based on Esri Silverlight API. But it looks like this is not the only  SDK.
In viewer, the extensibility SDK is also used. And many other libraries which can't be combined with ESRI Silverlight API. The combination would accelerate the development enormously.
The list can be found in the screen shot.

I am wondering where all these dlls are/come from (except Viewer.dll) this I won't need. That's why I did not ask this question in the Viewer forum. This forum also does not seem to be the correct one either.

Thanks
Ali
