I have some nice services provided to me that have multiple layers in them, with nice colors and icons.
I have to present those layers on a map, and provide maptips and clustering for them. This means I need to use FeatureLayers (as far as I understand).
Wonderful, except that it looks like I have to define the graphics for the FeatureLayers in xaml or code, instead of just using what comes from the service. Why can't I use the colors and symbols defined by our mappers? Why do I have to redefine them for my FeatureLayers? Am I missing something?
Hopefully I'm stating this clearly. I'm probably not hip to the lingo. 🙂
