Return list of Open Data enabled Groups

I have written a script to look at our organizations group content. I am only interested in those groups that have enabled the open data setting under group settings. Is there a way to return this value through the python api?

Yes I looked into this. But not all public data is open data. It is a parameter you set in group settings and can be accessed via this rest end point.
