In an attempt to prevent duplicates in our SQL table, we've put a unique index on a column in the table.
The javascript edit widget doesn't seem to handle exceptions. The unique index is preventing the record from being saved successfully but to the user it appears the record has saved ok.
Is there a way to handle SQL exceptions in the javascript widget and have it report that saves have not been successful?
