Android Map

I've been trying to get a simple map to appear on my Android 2.1 device in Chrome. I've tried both my own simple page and the Esri mobile map samples and neither of them work. The Esri logo appears at the bottom of the screen, but the map never actually loads. The page loads great on the iPhone. Anybody experimented with Android? What is the secret?

I have tried it out on my Droid Incredible (Android 2.2).  The map loads fine for me.  The only issue I have seen is with the pinch zoom, it will only zoom in on the page, not the map.

I have an HTC Eris from Verizon. The map loads and I can zoom in a few times but it just hangs after that, can't pan or zoom. This is just after doing a hard reset on my phone to remedy the htc mail bug. So it was clean from the factory. Never could these to load on the droid. Google maps work fine, which , ya know, seems funny...
