Adding Dynamic Tabs using ExtJS Framework

Using the ExtJS Layout sample, I learned how to hard code as many tabs as I want into a tab container, but how can I dynamically add tabs to the container?

Eventually, I want to use my selection tool to display the selected points, separating each layer by using tabs.

Any tips?
