Google extender future ?

Will the google extender for the ArcGIS javascript API be released in a future version, or is v1.6 the last version of this API?

I would like to see ESRI make a statement on the future of ArcGIS Extension for the Google Maps API as well.

We have been very happy with the API and have used it to develop several Enterpise Mapping Solutions.  We made the decision to use it, back a couple of years ago, mostly due to its Dynamic Map Layer capability and have not looked back.

If support is dropped, I sure would hope that it would be supoorted by some type of migration recommendations, possibly a utility, and documentation.

There are no plans to update the extender for the Google Maps API. We build one JavaScript library and want to make it the best library we can. The extenders for bing and google will not be updated.
