Win 8 Metro Browser Won't Support Plugins (Flex)

According to an MSDN blog (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/b8/archive/2011/09/14/metro-style-browsing-and-plug-in-free-html5.aspx), the Windows 8 Metro browser will not support plugins?  Anyone from ESRI care to comment on the future of the ArcGIS Server Flex API?  Or, is it too soon to tell?

It will support plugins in desktop mode, just not browser mode. So no different than current iPads that do not support Flash.

Users can still use IE10.
Beside, they can use other browsers - Firefox, Chrome.
