Using a layer with polygon in a livelayer widget

I,

I started to use flexviewer so i can't change lot of thinks but, i want to use the livelayer widget to display another geometry type ==> a polygon.

Is't possible to do that. In fact i know it does't work like that 🙂
I see a function name getpoint for a polygon object , how use it ?

How display my polygon layer ... in advance thanks for your help

    I don't think that your question is very clear. The LiveLayerWidget can easily display a point or polygon mapservice layer all you do is specify a xml file for that specific layer. Is your question how to configure the widget?

Thanks for your help.
I try to configure the livelayer widget with a point mapservice no problem it works.
But I change to a polygon layer it doesn't work.
I got an error "could not decode"

ouch my livelayer xml et mxml must correspond ???

that's why it doesn't work i must to modify my mxml file.
