Tracing/Snapping tool in flex??

Just started to use Flex and spent time on branding and creating new widgets.  Just been informed no way to trace or snap. 😞  Can someone please tell me whether next release will give me the ability to have a tracing/snapping tool or can it be done in this version? should I move to Silverlight, Tracing tool is critical for the work we do.....

So which route did you go?  Silverlight?  I am really starting to regret telling our clients to go the Flex route rather than Silverlight.  I'm royally screwed right now because I have to tell a large client that they can't snap using the editing tool I just developed for them because snapping is only in Silverlight, not Flex.  Sigh.  It would make things a little better if ESRI were to respond and actually tell us if/when snapping will be in the Flex API, but there has been a deafening silence from them on this issue.

same issue, as already spent money with other developments in Flex, budget, timeframe etc etc.  Still trying to get an idea from ESRI on the road map for Flex and tracing/snapping tool. 😞  Advised to use version 10, but seems they've removed all the features which came as standard in ver 9.0

went down the Flex route as upgraded ArcGIS Server version 10.  A colleague informed me version 9had it's own web front end without the need of Flex.  The colleague also informed me version 9 web front end had trace and snap tools?  Looks like we're sticking with Flex but would like some confirmation of how Flex will manage trace/snapping tool in the future.

As for snapping in the Flex API:
Yes, this is in the pipeline for a future release. Possibly for 2.3.
