Pass center of mapview

I have been trying to grab the center of the map view to send the lat and long over to google maps, does anyone have any code to grab the lat and long from the center of the map view where the crosshair would be?

Aaron,

   It kind of depends on what your maps spatial reference is. But you can use

map.extent.center

to get the maps center point.
