Performance is something we are closely watching with our mobile ArcGIS development. One challenging area we have found is the editing of complex polygons using the Editor. In the image below, the border indices (allowing for polygon editing) are slow in rendering and panning and zooming are seriously degraded.
Two possible solutions come to mind; simplify the polygons in the app so fewer indices (since we don't always have access to the source data), or remove the ability to edit the actual polygon (no indices). Are either of these approaches possible?
