Hi all,
I'm using an Introduction Window on my Experience Builder app. I am using a brand blue color and white text and a button. As you can see the default black text for "Don't show this again" does not meet any contrast guidelines and is extremely hard to see.
Is there a way to change this text to white? Maybe some html or arcade in that 'Checkbox text' window? Any workaround ideas?
If not, can you please put this on your accessibility list, Esri?
Thank you,
Andrea

You can't directly change the color of that text, but you can change your theme settings, which will change the color. Be aware that when you change your theme color settings, you might see items in your experience change color depending on how you've been using colors (e.g., if you've been selecting colors from the theme color options vs. selecting a custom color (which won't change after changing your theme settings).
How exactly you change your theme colors will depend on whether you're using the new theme options (introduced in one of the more recent updates) or the old options. For older experiences, it's an opt-in choice to go to the newer options, but be aware if you switch to them and save your experience, you can't go back to the old options.
If you're using the old theme options, go to the Theme tab, choose "advanced color setting," and play around with the colors. I had this experience set to the "organization" theme (before the old theme options got wiped out) and it's the "Dark" color that changes that text:
(I wouldn't actually use these colors, this is just an example)
If you're using the newer theme options (i.e., if you're seeing theme options called "Ocean," "Velvet" etc.), it's this property:

Hi @NicoleJohnson ,
Thank you for the response! Your info got me on the right track. I'm using "Organization Shared" theme
which is somehow different from the bottom of the list of themes where is says "Shared theme".
I tried changing it to "Shared theme" and that changed stuff but not in a good way. So I ended up making other changes to my colors so that I have contrast now.
Thanks,
Andrea
