Do you know how could I create a 3d pdf from Arcscene? and from another part of arcgis?
I have arcgis 10.0 (and acrobat XI pro if needed!)
thanks!

Hi,

Currently it is not possible to create a 3D PDF from ArcScene. However,
To export a ArcScene document as an image or 2D (VRML):
File > Export Scene > 2D
http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//00q800000105000000
File > Export Scene > 3D
http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//00q8000000w9000000

To view the VRML files, you can use any free plugin for viewing vrml. Here's one

4. To share your 3D document to other users, you can also use ArcGlobe to visualize your data and use publisher extension to create a published map to share to other users. However, to publish you will need Publisher extension for ArcGIS.

Thank you,

Hi,

Yes, it is possible to export to a 3D PDF format using Data Interoperablility extension. However, the input has to be format supported by Data Interoperability extension. Here is the link that show the supported formats,

Thank You,

I've been searching around but I can't find a solution...
3D PDF are perfect to share 3D models with non-gis clients... I just can't ask them to install softwares they will use only in this occasion!
I have collegues with data interoperability extension, so they made some tests...
the shapefiles work fine, but what if I need (and that is the most common case) to share a model made in arcscene? i.e. a satellite image on a TIN, with shapefiles organized in symbols... or different tridimensional models one on top of the other?
what would you think could be a way to export it to a file recognized by the interoperability exension?
