ArcScene V.10 Base Height does not always work

the base hight by data properties does not always work. The ArcScene 9.3.1 works ok for the same data sets. Bug with version 10? Any same experence?

Same problem it seems to loose the values when opening in Arc Scene then when I go to change them it crashes. It worked a few times b4 but now not at all aghh!! all I want to do is drape an image. :confused:
