Hello,

I am working through the process of moving SketchUp models into and out of ArcScene/ArcGlobe.  I have learned that collada is the the best file format for doing this.  I now know you can use Import 3D Files to pull in the collada file.  However, I was just curious if it is possible to create a multipatch file within ArcGIS by itself.  When I go through the Create Feature Class process multpatch is not a geometry type in drop down.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

P.S. I realize now that I misspelled ArcGlobe in the subject but.

Thanks ahead of time,
Derek

You can right click on a geodatabase or folder > New > Feature Class/Shapefile.  Then choose multipatch as the type from the drop down.

Multipatches

Tim I would like to mark this question as answered. Do you know how I would do that?

Thanks,
