Yeah I looked into that and messed around with it for a bit. Was able to get the notebooks to open, but I ended up breaking the kernel. After a few days of looking into it i just resorted to using a new profile on my machine.

I was working with esri support for about a week on this issue. We could not figure out the underlying issue causing it, but it was localized to one user. If you open a different user on you computer and try to run notebooks in arcgis pro it should work. I just ended up migrating all my stuff to a new user.

I am getting the following error when trying to open a new or existing notebook. I can access the notebooks via VS Code but not in ArcGIS pro. I am running version 3.2.1 does anyone know a fix?

I don't know if you have already figured this out, but if you open the hosted layer in arcpro you can select by attributes and delete multiple submissions.

I am having an issue labeling a point feature I have on a web map that is being used for ArcGIS Field Maps on Ipads. The Layer being labeled called, PointTreatment, has data from 2020 and will have data from 2021 added throughout the year. I have this arcade expression used to label the feature: /// last updated Feb 3 2021 /// added code for labeling treatments in 2020 /// labeling for days old treatment, sample /// set up variables var Acres = $feature.Acres var LBS = $feature.AmountUsed var Product = DomainName($feature,"Product") + ', ' /// if else statements if($feature.Date == today()){ var age =' today'; } else if(Year($feature.Date) == 2020){ var age = ' 2020' } else var age = text(round(datediff(now(), $feature.Date, 'days'),0) + ' days ago on ' + text(date($feature.date),'ddd, ' + 'MMM ' + 'D')); /// 2020 labels if( age == ' 2020' && isEmpty($feature.AmountUsed)){ var status = 'Sample taken ' + Text(Date($feature.Date), 'MMM') + ' 2020' } else if( age == ' 2020'){ var status = Acres + ' acres in ' + Text(Date($feature.Date), 'MMM') + ' 2020' } /// New Labels else if($feature.Product == 'Natular G (EPA#8329-80)' && (datediff(now(), $feature.Date, 'days'))<14){ var status = LBS + ' LBS of ' + Product + age; } else if($feature.Product == 'Vectobac GR (EPA#73049-486)' && (datediff(now(), $feature.Date, 'days'))<14){ var status = LBS + ' LBS of ' + Product + age; } else if($feature.Product == 'Vectobac 12AS (EPA#73049-38)' && (datediff(now(), $feature.Date, 'days'))<14){ var status = LBS + ' LBS of ' + Product + age; } else if($feature.Product == 'Kontrol Oil (EPA#73748-10)' && (datediff(now(), $feature.Date, 'days'))<7){ var status = LBS + ' LBS of ' + Product + age; } else if($feature.Product == 'Abate 1% (EPA#8329-17)' && (datediff(now(), $feature.Date, 'days'))<14){ var status = LBS + ' LBS of ' + Product + age; } else if($feature.Product == 'VectoMax FG (EPA#73049-429)' && (datediff(now(), $feature.Date, 'days'))<29){ var status = LBS + ' LBS of ' + Product + age; } else if($feature.Product == 'Duplex G (EPA#89459-93)' && (datediff(now(), $feature.Date, 'days'))<33){ var status = LBS + ' LBS of ' + Product + age; } else if($feature.Product == 'Natular G30 (EPA#8329-83)' && (datediff(now(), $feature.Date, 'days'))<34){ var status = LBS + ' LBS of ' + Product + age; } /// must include final else statement, or it will trigger a runtime error for var status else{ var status = '' } return status After I add this expression everything labels perfectly and looks like this... My next step is adding a filter that will only display data that is dated this year or march of the previous year. here is a screencap of the filter.... After that filter is added the labeling on Field Maps and Collector disappears but it does not disappear on the AGOL Web Map. here are screencaps from fieldmaps with the labeling gone after applying the filter.. and screencap from agol with the labeling still displaying after applying the filter... does anyone know why this is happening? I feel like it is a bug on the esri's end, but if anyone has any tips let me know. Thanks.

Just want to update anyone that was interested... I developed an expression that works. Feel free to use it. what happens is checks the attribute of the field "product" until it matches the input, then checks the date and returns a variable "status" that is either "New" or "old" based on the number of days passed since the creation date and now. if it doesnt match the first line of code then it moves onto the second and third, and so on. Each product has a different effective date, so you can add as few or as many different products as you like. Also this does show up on mobile devices in collector ps sorry for the tiny image

I want to have a feature class known as "treatments" to change from green to red based on a certain number of days. Within treatments there is a attribute " product" and each product is effective for a number of days. In the attached picture is a sample code I was given by Mark Brockenhauer how would I go about modifying this for each product? For example, one named Natular 30 lasts 30 days and one named Vectobac lasts 6 days.

Checked my computer again this morning, and it still says optimizing. yes there are lots of vertices, but i did not expect it to take a full day. How do I either cancel it, or restart?

I am trying to optimize layer drawing for one layer withing a hosted feature layer, 2020 sources. It says that it will take a few minutes to complete, but it has been optimizing for approximately 4 hours. Is this normal? the layer has about 2000 polygons.

My name is Tim and I work for the Weber County Mosquito Abatement District in Utah. I have been working there for 2 years now, started out as a regular field working and then decided to learn about GIS. Once I got the hang of it they decided to promote me to the GIS manager for the district. I'm still pretty new to GIS, but am learning quick. The biggest success I had this year is creating all the web maps we needed to track pesticide treatments. I love creating web maps for collector and I'd say that is my strong point. For mosquito control I have been using both arcmap and arc pro, arc map mostly in conjunction with juniper systems archer field computers. And arcpro to create web maps and story maps for presentations. What I'm most interested in learning is how to utilize arcade, python and other coding languages to improve how we collect data. This forum has been a godsend for me in learning the skills I needed to succeed this past year. Thanks to all of you!
