Hi Chen, I'm researching a similar idea now and discovered this sample map yesterday. You're probably limited to the 5 MB localStorage limit in html5 though. I have also experimented with tile packages in a native iOS app, and was really hoping that they would be available in javascript as well. I'm going to see what happens when I try to reference one with the JS API now. I don't expect it to work, but I'm replying in hopes that we can get more feedback from someone at ESRI. Let me know if you have learned any more details. Ryan

The chrome dev tools are a decent substitute. There's a 'pretty print' button at the bottom (looks like this - {}) that expands the code and updates links to errors, etc. You still have a lot of functions named stuff like '_1cc', but it's somewhat workable.

Was anyone able to clear this up? I'm walking the same path right now and it would be great to get some pointers as to what may be going on

Mike, I'm having the exact same problem. I've tried rebuilding pyramids several times. No luck so far, have you found a solution?

Looks right to me, that's how I'm using it at least. Not sure about all of the particulars in your case, but when I had a similar problem I was including values for some fields that I had specified as read only in my msd. If you try to update these fields (by setting attributes in the graphic), I believe your update will always fail.

I'm just running in to the same problem. I have an editing app for a feature class in Server 10. I am forcing the issue by creating or deleting features in another browser window, then calling refresh() on the feature layer in question but am not seeing an update. It seems like the images for the layer are being cached by the browser which is then being stubborn about releasing them when I call refresh() to update them. When I zoom in or out, the updated data is reflected, but when I zoom back to the original extent, I still see the old data for a while. I'm also seeing similar things happening with Chrome. Has anyone found a workaround for these types of problems?

So, I had forgotten that I marked the columns that I was trying to set as 'Read-only' in the attribute table in ArcMap before I published the map service. Oops!

Hi there, Nice solution, but things still aren't working for me. According to the edit callback, everything is working just fine; attributes are being sent to the server, and the 'success' field in the 'addResults' object (in the edit callback) is always returns true, BUT the instances being created in my geodatabase never have any attribution set. I've tried updating after the add also, and get the same results. The process reports that everything went smoothly, but the database does not reflect that at all. Any ideas? Ryan

in your map options object, add logo: false. for example map = new esri.Map("mapDivId", { logo: false });
