I have found that if I set order and save from MVC pop up configure window, it will retain field order into my final map popups. It is pretty ridiculous, but we often need to just get things done, and so we have to find a work around. I feel your frustration.

Oops, sorry, I thought this was referring to another idea I posted. This one has not been resolved, and I get the feeling it will never be. Sorry.

Thanks for the info! I had never used the catalog in this way, so I appreciate the tip.

I would like to suggest changing the tiny x that will delete your layout- or maybe ask a follow up question. I have often been trying to quickly look through my layouts and accidentally hit the x, which very quickly deletes said layout! The only recourse is to exit program without saving. There is no undo, and if you aren't paying attention, you may not notice what just happened. I would prefer to right click to delete layout, just please make it a little bit harder to do on accident.

I think at some point it will be figured out, but for now what a time waster! Team frustration for now. Thanks for asking though!

Hi Mike, I am wondering if there is any update to this pop up question. The goal is to be able to establish the order the user sees the pop-ups in, to set a priority to the pop-ups. Thank you.

An option to date-stamp photos collected in field maps would be very useful, as would the naming convention mentioned above by Mike_K. This ups the value of collecting photos tremendously.

I agree, this is exactly what I was hoping the Attachment Viewer would do- allow the user to examine photos, then update the point attributes (status field, notes) as needed. Please, please! This is so close.

Hi Erin, I have a script that will do this. I export the fgdb to arcmap, then perform a join and rename the attachments from the joined table, then export the attachments using the script. It is definitely easier than one by one, and keeps the naming convention you choose. For multiple photos at same site, it names them the same but adds a sequential number at the end. Let me know if you want more info, as this is kind of an old post, you likely have a solution already.

I found this while trying to work around this problem. It seemed reasonable, and the other solutions weren't working for me, so I tried to publish this- then it told me I would be exceeding my credits available by 1114%. I have around 850 credits now, so this is clearly a big draw of credits- beware. Seems tacky of esri to have the only workaround to a problem be a costly one. Obviously we would all like to label things in our maps- that's what we do. Sheesh. Problem: Unable to view labels enabled for hosted feature services in the Collector for ArcGIS application for Android and iOS Description Labels enabled for a hosted feature service using the Create Labels option in ArcGIS Online do not display when the same hosted feature service is accessed in the Collector for ArcGIS application for Android and iOS. Cause This is a known limit. Solution or Workaround To view labels in the Collector for ArcGIS application, label the map in ArcMap instead of ArcGIS Online. In ArcMap, add labels to the map and publish the map as a tiling service by following the instructions in the ArcGIS Online Help: Publish tiles document. In ArcGIS Online, add the entire map service with the URL ending in </MapServer> to a blank web map. Add the feature service in addition to the map service. Do not configure the labels in ArcGIS Online. Save the web map and open it in the Collector for ArcGIS application.

Have you tried working with your table in ArcGIS Pro? I am only beginning to play with it, but I have heard it is meant for geoprocessing large data sets, and there is an option in the attribute table window to use field view, and it lets you rename fields, reorder them, etc. I am not sure what is going on in the background or programming, but for us front-end users- wow! I am impressed so far.

Thank you so much. You don't want to know how many tech support calls I've made with no luck on this topic. It took you three sentences to set me straight. This forum is such a great resource. Thank you for the help. -Tiffany

Hi All, Is anyone out there using webapp builder to build dashboard summaries of their AGOL data? The problem I am having is that I often have to create a new version of the same layer so that I can strip off the photos. This makes the layer perform better in collector with the syncs, etc. When I am in my webapp and I set the source data to reference the newest layer (it has a new name, like Layer2), it wipes out all my query arguments, charts, searches, etc. This is such a hassle to have to recreate each of those. I had hoped the template function would let me save my file structure with all those arguments, but the template is not intended to work that way. Publishing the service over the original, using the same name, would likely solve my webapp problem, but generates various other data problems for my collector usage. Is anyone else doing this, and have you found a work around? The wepapps are a great way to share the results with managers over our internal webpage, and I really like them. I just don't love having to rebuild it every two weeks. Thanks for your ideas. -Tiffany
