Hi - We'd like to do something very similar. We are using an SVG as a lightweight interactive map. Our processes is to export a layer of point features to and SVG that we can overlay over a basemap image. For a map with a small number of features our workflow for creating the interactive svg maps is: Export from ArcGIS Pro to .aix Open .aix in illustrator Overlay layer over AI/Photoshop designed basemap and refine placement of data points Manually rename data points (paths) to include an id attribute that links the data point to the aspatial data set (essentially an attribute table) Export to SVG in illustrator Add interactivity using D3.JS set CSS styling for points Add hover iterations For a larger dataset, setting the IDs by hand is rather onerous. We'd appreciate any other workflows or methods to get the IDs onto the points (paths). Thanks.

Checking in on the state of this. We'd also like to access adobe fonts in arcGIS Pro.

Since the flickering is apparently due to some "non-determinism in the z-order of the drawing of the ground surface vs. the layers painted on them" another suggested fix from an Esri dev: In your layer list, select "Elevation Surfaces" > “ground” and change the color to fully transparent. Then run your export again.

I also sometimes get this flicker this in both 2D and 3D animations and I finally found a solution. I was told that it is due to a problem with the rendering engine getting confused and putting layers below the surface. Yes, even in 2D. The solution that works for me is to adjust the elevation on the flickering layer(s). Again, yes, even in 2D. Open the layer's properties > Elevation Set the cartographic offset to something slightly above the ground (e.g. 0.01m), or more if you are in 3D. You may also need to adjust the elevation of other layers if they disappear below this one.

Animation overlays and label call-outs don't display colors the same way. Transparent white overlays look too dark. This is a screenshot from ArcGIS Pro 2.6.1.

I recently updated arcGIS Pro to 2.6.0. Since then, I can't work in my existing 3D scenes. The project seems to open, but as soon as I click on, such as changing the track in an animation, I get a spinning wheel of death for hours. I have to use task manager to close it. It seems I have to uninstall and reinstall 2.5...

I am creating a flyover animation in arcGIS Pro, using a local scene. In my scene, I am draping the Esri World Imagery tile service over the Esri World Elevation3D elevation tile surface. In local scene view, the base imagery is from a single tileset and looks good (left below). However, in the preview and when I export the animation, my base imagery is from two very different seasons and isn't usable (right below). Does anyone know a way to control this? Canserina Kurnia?

When setting coordinates systems and projections for dataframes or re-projecting data in arcGIS Pro, you can now set a spatial filter, which is great. How about take it one step farther and filter projections based on which distortion properties are maintained? Basically, incorporate a tool like the Projection Wizard. This would be very handy for students and GIS professionals alike!

A couple years later and this no longer holds! When I remove all text from an immersive box in a fly-over, the empty box still zips by. I have to create a new immersive section and remember not to click in the box.

Thanks to John Nelson for the answer! If you share the Pro map as vector tiles they style is retained. More info on that here: Share a vector tile layer—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop

I imported the antique maps style to arcGIS Pro and applied one of the ink-line styles to my polygons. It looks great. However, when I share the layer as a Web Layer to arcGIS Online, I loose the symbology and just have transparent polygons. Are styles made from a picture stroke supported in arcGIS online? Do I need to upload the img file somewhere? if so, where? I've attached an image of the polygons in arcGIS Pro... I'd attached an image of the web layer in the web map viewer, but there is nothing to see. I double checked, that if I swap the style back to a plain black outline and share it, the polygons are visible.

We've created a layout that is a template that we'd like to use for a dozen maps. Here's what we are doing: in catalog, make a copy of the layout and the map open the copy of the map and make the desired layer changes/adjustments open the layout, and change the map referenced in the map frame to the new map wait while arcGIS Pro hangs forever... We've tried on multiple computers without success. If it makes any difference, the project and data are all accessed via UNC paths. Looking at the performance tab of task manager, nothing (GPU, Memory, etc) seems to be maxing out. Any suggestions?

I am animating point and line features to show an animal's migration, and in a few places I get big blurry blobs around the point features. It seems to happen when the point is near the edge of a tile? The blobs show up in arcGIS Pro Scene (in some frames), and in the preview frame, and in the final export (in more frames). I've tried slightly adjusting the camera angle, but that didn't help. Any suggestions?
