Hello and thanks for reaching out, As you've pointed out, the `GeometryEngine.intersections()` method requires two geometries. As a result, there is currently no API for obtaining the self-intersection of a single polyline. It would be possible, howerver, to implement this manually by making a new polyline out of each segment of your original polyline. It would then be possible to iterate over these segments, using ` GeometryEngine.intersections(selfIntersectingPolyline, segment)` to find the intersection points between them and your original geometry. There may be a few caveats to keep in mind here, for example, if the self-intersecting geometry is very complex (i.e. consists of many segments), then this could result in a quite a few calls to ` GeometryEngine.intersections()`, and might take a fair while to compute.

Hello, It would be helpful for us to reproduce this locally so that we can assist in dealing with this issue. Would you be able to share the code used for syncing the geodatabase with us? Many thanks, Jonathan

Hi Martin, The best way to measure distances using the API is with GeometryEngine.distanceGeodetic() or GeometryEngine.lengthGeodetic(), as that will take into accound the map's spatial reference correctly. We've double checked, and the distances returned by this method are correct. For setting the viewpoint to a specific scale, you could use MapView.setViewpointScaleAsync(double) or .setViewpointCenterAsync(Point, double) . Please let us know if this works well for you, or if you have any other questions. Thanks, Jon

Hi Martin, Would you be able to share some details regarding the inaccuracy you are observing in the return values of .getMapScale() ? This might help us better understand the issue and offer some more focused support. Thanks, Jonathan

Hi Tom, The sample `List related features` shows how to use a `ListView` to create an UI element that lists all the features returned from a query. Perhaps this is something similar to what you are looking to do?

Hello Rick, While we have Python 2 and 3 included in the LocalServer SDK for our desktop APIs, these are built on top of Anaconda, so that only their vetted packages would be included in any potential packages. Alternatively we build from sources for packages we maintain. Most importantly, neither of the libraries you mentioned are in our installs. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

You can use GeoView.getCurrentViewpoint(), which will return a Viewpoint that has information about latitude, longitude and scale.

Hi Nishidh, You can use the method: map.addDoneLoadingListener(Runnable listener) You can then set the viewpoint once the map has finished loading using one of the many ways elaborated in this sample: arcgis-runtime-samples-android/java/change-viewpoint at master · Esri/arcgis-runtime-samples-android · GitHub

Hi James, you can set the impedance parameters to your desired value(s) by first clearing the default parameters: serviceAreaParameters.getDefaultImpedanceCuttoffs().clear(); And then adding your own values into the default impedance cuttoffs, e.g. for 1 and 3 min: serviceAreaParameters.getDefaultImpedanceCuttoffs().addAll(Arrays.asList(1.0, 3.0)); Hope this answers your question, please let us know if you have any further problems. Jonathan
