Hi Suganya, Thanks for responding. I do not have any overlapping features on the map, it is a simple map with a basemap of with the imagery with labels vector and and AGSArcGISMapImageLayer. I'm using an iPad Air 2 to test on. I can look into sharing the service if you'd like to test it. It is publicly available. I'm testing right now on a new application with the service in the samples app. And yes, I am getting the correct results back the first time I run the identify, but not on subsequent times, it simply returns the values from the first time I ran the identify every time. Sometimes those first times persist through builds. Super weird. Thanks, Greg

I'm having issues with the identifyLayers function. Every time I call it, i consistently get back the same result. For example the same information is coming back whether I click on a different part of the screen or not. It generally is whatever the first result was that came back out of the function. I've followed the sample code available out of the samples app on the app store, but cannot get it to work. I'm using the most recent version of the SDK. Below is the code that I'm calling. func geoView(_ geoView: AGSGeoView, didTapAtScreenPoint screenPoint: CGPoint, mapPoint: AGSPoint) { self.identifyLayers(screenPoint) } private func identifyLayers(_ screen: CGPoint) { let passedInLayer: AGSLayer = self.layer print(screen) self.mapsView.identifyLayer(passedInLayer, screenPoint: screen, tolerance: 12, returnPopupsOnly: false, maximumResults: 10) { (identifyLayerResult: AGSIdentifyLayerResult) -> Void in if let error = identifyLayerResult.error { print(error) return } self.handleIdentifyResults(identifyLayerResult) } } private func handleIdentifyResults(_ results: AGSIdentifyLayerResult) { print(results.layerContent.name) print(results.sublayerResults.count) print(results.sublayerResults[0].layerContent.name) print(results.sublayerResults[0].geoElements.count) print(results.sublayerResults[0].geoElements[0].attributes["ParcelFormatted"]) } All of this code ends returning the same value for the ParcelFormatted field out of the layer. Thanks in advance for your help. Greg

Hi, I've just started with the JavaScript API and I'm trying to add a feature layer per the examples I've found on the API page, but for some reason I am not able to see the layer in the map. My sample code is below. Any help trouble shooting this is appreciated. Thank you. <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <meta name="viewport" content="initial-scale=1,maximum-scale=1,user-scalable=no"> <title>FeatureLayer - 4.6</title> <link rel="stylesheet" href="https://js.arcgis.com/4.6/esri/css/main.css"> <script src="https://js.arcgis.com/4.6/"></script> <style> html, body, #viewDiv { padding: 0; margin: 0; height: 100%; width: 100%; } </style> <link rel="stylesheet" href="https://js.arcgis.com/4.6/esri/css/main.css"> <script src="https://js.arcgis.com/4.6/"></script> <script> require(["esri/Map", "esri/views/MapView", "dojo/domReady!", "esri/layers/FeatureLayer"], function (Map, MapView, FeatureLayer) { var map = new Map({basemap: "hybrid"}); var view = new MapView({ container: "viewDiv", map: map, zoom: 11, center: [-111.99, 41.05] // longitude, latitude }); const fl = new FeatureLayer({ url: "http://arcgis.weberbasin.net/arcgiswa/rest/services/CurrentServiceAreas/FeatureServer/0" }); map.add(fl); }); </script> </head> <body> <div id="viewDiv"></div> </body> </html>

With current API you cannot control the zoom level. Thank you for your suggestion. We'll look into it. Regards, Nimesh Any progress being made on this for the next api release? I really need to zoom in more than what we are currently allowed to do. Greg Pierce

I'm in the same boat. I am no longer able to display our linear reference layer (stationing) along our pipelines due to this problem. Has anyone come up with a solution to this? Thanks, Greg Pierce Weber Basin Water Conservancy District

Adding to what Jay said: Once you copy the PopUpRenderSkin.mxml into the com.esri.viewer.skins folder add the following to the defaults.css file in src->default package esri|PopUpRenderer { skinClass:ClassReference("com.esri.viewer.skins.PopUpRendererSkin") } compile the project and run Subu Thank you! I thought I was going crazy trying to figure out how to implement that skin!

Does anyone know the command to have the widget opened but minimized upon start up? I saw this available on another website using the flex viewer and thought it would be cool. I know the preload="open" and "close" commands but that's it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Greg

It looks like the config file link for the bing application doesn't work. I removed a dash towards the end and it pulled up. Just an FYI. Thanks for your help.

Robert, So if I want to use the local base maps provided, do I then need to remove the arcgis online basemaps? And I'm still kind of confused on the intial extent numbers. I know they are the areas you wish to zoom into, but how precise do they need to be and in what order are they listed? ie: xmin xmax ymin ymax. Do you know if there is anything else I need to do besides those two things? Thanks, Greg

Hi everyone, I posted in this forum last week and Robert was very helpful so I thought I'd give it another try. I'm trying to replace the default basemaps in the viewer with some local basemaps that are supplied by the Utah Automated Geographic Reference Center. The basemap services can be found here if anyone would like to take a look at them, http://mapserv.utah.gov/arcgis/rest/services/ These are tiled basemaps that as far as I can tell should integrate fine with the Flex viewer. I've played around with the intial extents and full extents to see if i could get that to work, but have had no luck. The basemaps I want are in UTM Zone 12, not the Web Mercator, does that have anything to do with it? My operational layers are not in Web Mercator and it comes in just fine. The arcgis online services will still come in, but the mapserv.utah.gov service just creates a blank basemap. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Any help would be very much appreciated. Here is the code for the basemap I want to get as I have it in v.2.3 <map wraparound180="true" initialextent="-12544000 4965000 -12382000 5071000" fullextent="-20000000 -20000000 20000000 20000000" top="40"> <basemaps> <layer label="Streets" type="tiled" visible="true" url="http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Street_Map/MapServer"/> <layer label="Hybrid" type="tiled" visible="false" url="http://mapserv.utah.gov/ArcGIS/rest/services/UtahBasemap-Hybrid/MapServer"/> <layer label="Topo" type="tiled" visible="false" url="http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Topo_Map/MapServer"/> </basemaps> Thanks, Greg Pierce GIS Specialist Weber Basin Water Conservancy District
