I am currently doing different types of geoprocessing tasks via Transact-SQL in a SQL Server Database using the geometry methods provided here: geometry Data Type Method Reference . A lot of what I am doing occurs using triggers in the database, so when a feature is inserted in a particular feature class via a web service provided through a web app, a trigger then fires to create and insert data in other feature classes to produce on the fly analysis. You definitely have to be careful with ObjectIDs. I don't believe this is necessarily best-practice, but it is currently working without issue, and it's fun!

The social media widget in the Public Info app would be great to have in the web app builder! especially if you could apply filters to all social media outlets provided through that particular widget.

I am also looking to add this same functionality to one of our web apps. I am surprised that a widget hasn't already been created and posted to Geonet that performs this task. I noticed that you can do this in the web mapping portion of AGOL, but you can't easily pull in that functionality to a web app. Anyone? If I knew how to create custom widgets, I would definitely work on this one. -drew

Damon, How did you actually implement this? I tried adding a subtitle to the map title but I am unable to modify the text size, etc. I added it as a new line in the current Map Title when printed, but then it bleeds into the map frame. Are you able to use the customTextElements to place text anywhere you want within the printed map?

Matthew, I was also able to do it in the Widget.js file of the Query Widget. Though this would force upper case on all queries submitted through the Query Widget, which works for us since we have all of our data in upper case. See lines 546 and 549.

How would I go about automatically opening the attribute table of the query results? Would I modify the JS in the Query widget, the LayerList widget, or the AttributeTable widget? Has anyone developed anything that would do this yet? I would like to make this app as easy as possible so that the public can do a simple query and have the results automatically show up without having to navigate around and figure out how to get the results attribute table to open. Thanks for the help! I attached a screenshot for reference.

I am creating a query app so that public users can search water rights in Montana. I would like to have the attribute table open at startup of the app to make it easy for users to find the data table. How do you modify the AttributeTable widget so that it is open when the app loads? Thanks for the help! -drew
