Bert, automatically no. I haven't seen that in practice. What I do for my agency is I have coded within the domains to indicate which device was used. So it is a manual process of choosing the drop down.

Thanks Chris, The service URL didn't work. I ended up placing a ticket in with ESRI and they indicated that it is a known bug within the Web AppBuilder. The service is timing out as it loads the JSON string. It has been assigned to a developer. So eventually it will get worked on. I did find out that if there were at least less than 5 operational layers active, the print function will not time out, sometimes. It's inconsistent. Thank you for your help.

Hello all, I have created a Web App for my agency using Web Appbuilder for ArcGIS. Whereas I have read the multitude of posts regarding the out of the box print widget I haven't found a definitive answer to how to make it work. When I first created the Web App the print function worked. Then after two weeks of use the symbology in the legend stopped printing. So I made a change in the symbology on only the parcel layers to have no fill. Now I get this error message: "unable to load, //utility.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/Utilities/PrintingTools/GPServer/Export%20Web%20Map%20Task/execute status: 0" This occurs when printing to any format (PDF was the default). From what I have read, most people have just created their own printing service on ArcGIS Server. I, however, am constrained by my agency and been denied use of ArcGIS for Server due to internal concerns. So creating my own print service is out of the question. Can this be done through Amazon or another cloud based server? My agency needs the functionality of the web map I created and I need to figure this issue out.

Adam, Did you get any feedback from your question. It's been a year since you posted what did you decide to use for your project?

HI. Bad Elf made an update and the capability issue seems to be resolved for the time being. However, Bad Elf also sent out an announcement to not upgrade to iOS 8.3 yet. So there is a lag in compensating for iOS updates that can potentially and will give you problems when you are collecting data. If the receiver won't connect, you can't get data that day. When the GNSS Surveyor works I am getting 5m and better accuracy on all my devices 83% of the time and only 3% of the time did I get submeter, which the GNSS Surveyor doesn't advertise that it can. Personally I am not going to recommend the device for my agency's continued usage based solely on the update issue that takes a while to resolve and to date there are not any work arounds for it.

Shane, My data team noticed that they were getting errors on photos if they attempted to zoom in on a feature. Have you been experiencing this issue with your data collection. In some cases zooming in will crash collector.

Shane, What size of "memory" storage does your iPad have? Make sure you don't have a lot of extraneous apps on the ipad that take up space. Keep your works zones small because you are going to need space to store the attached photos. I had the exact issue with the 4, 4S, 5 and the iPad. Once I limited my space and storage and used the same work around that Cameron Smith discusses above, it worked ok. I have updated to 6, 6+ and an iPad Mini 3 and so far everything has worked out fine. But I still keep my work zones small and keep only the apps I need on it. It's not a simple fix but maybe it will help you.

I have been evaluating the Bad Elf GNSS Surveyor with the following devices: iPhone 6 (iOS 8.2), iPhone 6+ (iOS 8.2), iPad Mini 3 (iOS 8.2). Bad Elf GNSS SURVEYOR: BE-GPS-3300. The issues I have been experiencing are difficultly pairing three units to the Bad Elf. Keeping connection once paired. The Bad Elf is supposed to be able to be used by 5 devices at one time. My unit will not connect with one unit for a length of time much less three. I can sometimes keep connection to one unit at a time but once the bluetooth is turned off on the unit connection can't be re-established. Currently, none of the devices will pair. An error message will flash quickly onscreen ("This Accessory is not supported by this iPad or iPhone") I reset the iPad and was able to maintain a connection long enough to check the firmware on the Bad Elf before I lost the connection. I don't believe it is a software issue as I am running Collector for ArcGIS, but I am not ruling it out at this time. In the field I also noticed loss of accuracy if I touched the receiver or if I wore the receiver on the lanyard even if I kept the receiver's view unobstructed. If anyone else has experienced I would very much appreciate any technical support for this issue.

Eric, I got in contact with Russ Roberts and supplied him the crash report from the iphone. It appears to be a problem with the Collector App taking a lot of resources on the phone when using the camera. The iphone I am using is a 16GB version with only 2.3 GB of free space on it. I am attempting to free up more space by removing unnecessary data from it to see if that makes a difference. The Collector App will crash, whether its online or doing offline editing, any time the photo capture is activated on any map that allows attachments. Jessica, I suggest looking at the crash report from the 4S. The Collector App captures photos just fine on my iPad 2. Daniel

This might be a repeat but I am having issues of the photo capture crashing the Collector App on my iPhone 4S and iPhone 4, these ware the devices provided by my agency. They are running on iOS 7.1.1 and Collector App v 10.2.3. Collecting the features without a photo works with no issue. Collecting with a photo crashes right as the photo is taken. Yet no photo is collected in the phone. The Collector App is created using desktop 10.1. Any assistance offered would be greatly appreciated.

I am also experiencing the inability to save my maps to AGOL. It takes several tries to even get the Save As dialog box to pop up and then it will not save but just get stuck in "Saving to my content." I have tried cleaning the cache and restarting and nothing has cleared up. Daniel
