I see that MapImageLayer has replaced ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer in 4.0 and that DynamicMapServiceLayer is under consideration. In 3.x, I created a custom layer from a netCDF hosted on a Unitdata THREDDS Server using it's WMS capabilities. I had to create a custom layer and not use the WMS Layer class because the layer had extra properties like color, number of bands, etc. With MapImageLayer in 4.0, is there a way to create a custom layer like there was with DynamicMapServiceLayer? I see that the class still has getImageUrl which helped me use the extra properties. I used the Custom Tiled Layer Type page to help me create the layer: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/3/jssamples/layers_custom_tiled.html

Thanks jeff.pace, I submitted a ticket request (process here). Hope to see it as something minor.

Yes, they show up correctly in the web map. I am just using the default printer...
var printer = new Print({
map: _map,
url: "server"
}, dom.byId("print"));
printer.startup();
I checked the JSON for Export Web Map and it is sending all the layers that are on the map, but it is not showing them in the final image/pdf.

Yes, they are not transparent, but the tiles are all png's. The test I have used is set up with tiled layers that do not overlap. I do not know of a test 10.2 server that ESRI provides in the samples so I cannot check if it is a problem with my server. It is a newly setup 10.2 server.

I have set up a 10.2 server and am trying to print a map with a Web Tiled Layer. The image produced contains the Web Tiled Layer I added to the map, but it does not have the basemap. I also have tried added multiple Web Tiled Layers to the map and it only prints the topmost tiled layer. I have tried a proxy and POST instead of GET requests. Is this normal behavior or is it an option to enable multiple tiled layer printing?

I don't know if I should ask this here or in the Python forum so please move if this should be there instead. I would like to run Zonal Statistics as Table and/or Tabulate Area using a "drawn" polygon with the JavaScript drawing tool. I would like to send the geometries to these tools to use with a shape file (non changing). Is there a way to convert the geometries to send it to the tool or is there another way to do this? Thanks

I was able to "link" the movement of the map with a sideMenu div through onPan and onPanEnd... sideMenuTop = 40; sideMenuLeft = map.width - 600; dojo.connect(map, 'onPanEnd', function () { sideMenuTop = $('#sideMenu').css('top').substring(0, $('#sideMenu').css('top').length - 2); sideMenuLeft = $('#sideMenu').css('left').substring(0, $('#sideMenu').css('left').length - 2); }); dojo.connect(map, 'onPan', function (extent, delta) { $('#sideMenu').css('top', Number(sideMenuTop) + delta.y); $('#sideMenu').css('left', Number(sideMenuLeft) + delta.x); });

Is there any way of putting asp.net controls like UpdatePanel in the infowindow bubble? If not, is there a way I can make a menu pan/scroll with the map? I need to show dynamic content in a window while allowing it to pan with the map. If anyone has any other recommendations, I'd be open to them.

I would like to set which wms layer that is shown on top. I assume I set it with the z-index, but how would I do this?
