Hi Janet, Portal for ArcGIS 10.1 will not show these options. Version 10.7 should show these options. The following documentation outlines this functionality at your version. https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/use/edit-features.htm There are a few things we should check on here: -Is the layer you are targeting hosted? -What do you see when you go to edit setting page? -What kind of layer are we working with here? Raster? Vector? Alternatively, we can open a ticket with Esri Support to ensure everything went smoothly with the upgrade. Being able to work with Esri Support will ensure that you can get everything in a connected and healthy state post upgrade. In lieu of a support ticket, perhaps a screenshot of your setting page? I will do me best to figure this out here. You have the power, we just need to unlock it! Hopefully we can get you editing like a pro here Janet.

Hi Jay, I may have some resources for troubleshooting this error. First, I would like to get some additional information: What version of ArcGIS Pro are you using? What version of Portal for ArcGIS are you running? Does your ArcGIS Enterprise deployment include the Tile Cache Datastore? What is the operating system you are running ArcGIS Enterprise on? Troubleshoot Scenes and 3D data https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/10.5/use/troubleshoot-scenes.htm Scene Service is missing Root Node errors https://community.esri.com/thread/246479-scene-service-is-missing-root-node-errors I can provide more details once I know the version you are using here. This error means that the data was not able to be cached within the database that creates these web scenes. Sometimes this is a security issue (SSL 3.0) but other times it is related to the amount of room on the machine where ArcGIS Datastore is installed. -Andrew W.

Greetings Kyle, I believe you are running into a defect with related tables and Arcade. I have not found any workaround unfortunately, but you can subscribe to the defect here. You can also log a support ticket and they will attach you to the defect. I am sorry to hear this defect is affecting your workflow.

Greetings David, As far as I can tell based on the documentation, there is no way to separate layers once published up to Portal for ArcGIS. This is a decision that needs to be made before publishing. If you feel like this is a gap in functionality that could benefit a wide swath of users, I would encourage you to create an idea within ArcGIS Ideas. I did find some best practice recommendations on managing layers within Portal for ArcGIS. https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/use/best-practices-layers.htm I get the sense that if we are given the option to group layers together, then we would also be given the option to "ungroup" those same layers. So perhaps the request for group layers is actually what you are asking for here? If so, it has been listed as "In Product Plan" for now. Hope this helps, Andrew W.

However, Portal for ArcGIS should also provide these options *if* you have ArcGIS Server with a managed database (ArcGIS Datastore) that is federated with Portal for ArcGIS. Greetings Tolo, I have seen Arcade expressions cause incorrect values to display, but I do not think that is what you are seeing here. Perhaps there is conflict with the Postgres database here. Portal for ArcGIS also uses Postgres, so I wonder if there is a database conflict. Is the database on the same machine as Portal for ArcGIS? -Andrew

Greetings Tolo, I do not have an answer right out of the gate, but I do have some questions. Are you using Arcade to calculate attribute values? Have these values been edited in Pro post publishing? What version of Postgres are you using here? Are there domain values or subtypes applied here? Do we see this same behavior in all feature services originating from this Postgres database? If we used a file geodatabase just as a test, do we see the same behavior? I am hoping that we can narrow down whether this is data specific, database specific, or a systemic issue. -Andrew

HI Scott, First, I just want to say that I completely understand how confusing and muddy this is from a change management perspective. It is a lot to manage and it isn't always crystal clear when versions change and such. Hopefully I can clarify this and help you get what you need to be successful. I checked and the latest is 2019.2 currently. You are correct that the authorizations numbers change after 10.5, but that will still be true whether you upgrade License Manager or not. What that means is that these new licenses need to be loaded into the ArcGIS License Manager in order to be made available to the clients you are authorizing. If you want, you can simply upgrade the License Manager to 10.6 and then wait for the next upgrade to make the leap to 2019.2. You can update your License Manager at the same time you upgrade your ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Desktop software. Alternatively, you could update on a yearly basis. Its really up to you but ArcGIS License Manager should be the first in line to get updated. The update may sound like an upheaval but unless you are changing the machine where it is installed, it should be relatively easy. If you chose to make the jump from 10.4.1 to 10.6, just load the installer, stop the licensing service, install 10.6 (it will detect and replace the 10.4.1 install), and then restart the license service and you are good to go. The same license you had before will be there but you will have the ability to add higher level licenses up to 10.6. This documentation shows what that looks like. Even if you do not have live support at the time of the upgrade, I would still advocate for logging a support ticket if you need it. We want you to be successful and it always helps to have the resources available if needed.

Okay, it seems like there is more to this than just resource usage. It could be helpful to open up a support ticket with Esri Support Services. It is hard to say definitively since each request is responding differently. I can say that 17GB of memory is way more than I would expect for such a simple operation.
