I have been asked by my water meter department to create a join for our customers meter information. The join will connect to the towns parcel layer using the map and lot numbers for each parcel served. I have been able to do a one to one join with no issues at all but when it comes to a one - many join I'm not making the connection for some reason I'm obviously missing something but I cant figure it out. We have a handful of parcels that have several meter accounts under one map and lot so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction to get this fixed. The Parcel Layer and the customer meter table are both inside the same File Geodatabase. I also want to get this join to be viewed in ArcGIS online as well. Thanks for any help in advance, Todd

I recently replaced 2 iPads. Both iPads are used in the field collecting data with Survey123 and viewing maps using Field Maps. Once the iPads were set up I gave them to the field crews to log into their ArcGIS Online accounts to add all the maps in Field Maps and forms in Survey123. Survey123 works perfectly but when they logged into Field Maps to view and add the maps they needed nothing comes up. There was no credential or sharing changes between the old iPad and the new one for any of our users and as a test I even logged in with my credentials and I saw all the maps I use. We also recently hired a few new employees and when I setup their ArcGIS Online accounts and shared the maps they needed to view on their iPhones after a quick search they were able to find the maps and add them as a favorites. Thanks for any help in advance. Todd

Thank you both for the quick response. I went ahead and turned the layers off in Map View that I don't want to load when the users open the map. Once I saved the map in Map View, I opened the Instant App and it now only has the layers I want to load when the map opens. If anyone at the police dept wants to turn on any of the additional layers that are not visible they can do it now at their convenience. Thanks for the help, Todd

I have a Search and Rescue map of our watershed. This map displays trail data, gates, and sign posts. The map was created to help emergency services in my Town. I have recently shared this map as an Instant App with the local police dept. Dispatch staff has access to this map via a URL in the event there is an emergency. One of the dispatchers asked if there is a way to have a set of default layers to be visible every time they open the map. They suggested that the default layers should just be the trails, gates and sign post and if dispatch staff needed to turn anything else on they could do it at their convenience. The maps has 70 layers and when the map is open there is so much to see they are hoping to minimize the visibility of layers. I did a search about setting up a set of Default layers to always load when the map opens but I'm running into a dead end every time I click on a link. I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. Current workflow is: SAR map in Pro, that's pulling from ArcGIS Online, created an Instant App and shared the URL with the police dept. Thanks for any help in advance. Cheers, Todd

I'm working on a Web Map to be used for search and rescue efforts in a watershed region. This map will be shared with dispatch so they can use it in the event of an emergency. We have several posts installed throughout the watershed at certain trail intersections with decimal degrees, and degrees minutes seconds stamped on a plate that is attached to each post. The search option for GPS coordinates works great when entering decimal degrees coordinates but when trying to enter Degrees, minutes, seconds I cant seem to find a way to input the correct format so the map zooms to that location. Thank you in advance for any help, Todd

Hello ESRI Community, I'm trying to find the best workflow with updating water utility layers after I collect them using a GPS unit. My current workflow now is when a new water utility feature is added I go out and collect the new feature(s) pull the data off of my AGOL account, insert the new features in ArcGIS Pro, make all updated changes needed for that utility feature(s). Once this has been completed my local file geodatabase is updated then my next step is to get AGOL updated. In the past I would just overwrite the AGOL layer with the new layer but recently I have found that some of my Surveys get screwed up when I do that. I have a few surveys that are hyperlinked to hydrant maintenance, hydrant flushing and hydrant winter checks. The above workflow has always worked for me over the years but I think I may be able to do away with a step without screwing up the surveys that have been linked. Thanks for any help in advance, Todd

I'm sure this isn't new but I recently noticed that after I created a connection between a Survey123 survey and Power Automate the survey name in the "When a survey response is submitted" changed from the original name to a long string of number and letters. Can anyone explain to me why this happened? I guess good thing is it didn't screw up the connection and I'm still able submit rows to a spreadsheet that is on a SharePoint site. I attached a screenshot for a refernce. Thanks, Todd

So I made the change you both suggested and I got the result I'm looking for but without the decimal point after the 5. Can either one of you tell me how the calculation should be to get the decimal point added? See the attached screenshot of the XLS and the Form. Thanks again for your help, Todd
