I'm having an issue with the Compatibility Testing on the Enable GNSS screen. When I run the test it tells me to "Please define a datum transformation for feature class [XXX]." I've already set a transformation in the ArcMap data frame as well as the Positions Datum Transformations dialogue (says it's for ArcPad and I'm using Mobile but figured it couldn't hurt). I'm not aware of anyway to set a transformation to one specific feature class in ArcMap without actually modifiying the source data which isn't and option... am I missing something? Thanks. Bart

I downloaded MapSAR a few weeks ago and am working through the documentation. When I attempt to set the coordinate system by following the instructions in the Localize MapSAR document the Set Spatial Reference tool returns a Traceback error (see attached). Anyone have any ideas? I'm running ArcMap 10.1 SP1 on an XP machine with .NET 4 installed. Thanks. Bart

Does anyone else see a white border around the tiles that are loaded into AGOL from a cached service? They appear when viewing the cache in AGOL but not when viewing it in the ArcGIS JavaScript API viewer. Wondering if it's just me. Bart

I have an ArcMap 10.1 MXD published as a Map Service in Server 10.1 using the same tiling scheme as ArcGIS online. At some cache levels only a potion of certain features are being rendered. In the attached image, Westlin Dr is a complete road and shouldn't be broken. At other zoom levels it displays correctly. Any ideas? Thanks. Bart

I've set up an operational view using tree inspection data. My Chart widget which reports their condition indicates that 511 (51.1%) are in "fair" condition. I have more than 1000 trees on the map but that's where the widget seems to stop counting. Are certain widgets limited to only 1000 features? My Summary widget counts all of them. I can't find anything in the help that references any sort of limit. Thanks. Bart

Just as an update. Tech Support determined that this was a new bug (NIM098612 - Slow synchronization with ArcGIS Mobile when using mobile services) and are currently reviewing whether or not they will create a Hot Fix. Bart

I'm running ArcGIS for Windows Mobile version 10.2 (10.2.5000.3581) on a Juno 3B device connected to a wireless network. I have a feature class with approximately 13000 points in it and after editing one attribute on one point the synchronization process takes 12 minutes which seems quite excessive considering only the changes (or at least that's my understanding) get sent back and forth. The same process on a full Windows version of Mobile takes 10 seconds. There are a few bugs related to this issue (NIM 064309 & NIM 087498) but both pertain to an earlier version of the software. There's also a posting (http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/17562-Excessive-time-to-post-single-update-windows-mobile-app?highlight=synchronization) from 2010 that indicates there's a hotfix out there that resolves this issue, but I haven't been able to locate it and it also pertains to an earlier version of the software. I just had a conversation with ESRI Tech Support regarding this bug fix. Apperently the issue has been resloved in Mobile 10.2. No set release date but figured it should be soon.
