I am trying to convert a graphics layer to a kmz. When I use layer to KML tool, it does not fail, but it does not produce a kmz file either. I successfully created a kmz within the same project from a different graphics layer just a few days ago. Now, nothing.

Hi Karol, I never found a good solution. I ended up taking down the feature service. If you ever figure it out, please post!

Do I have to access ArcGIS online through a browser when using a mobile phone? Or is there an app that I can download to do that? Is this what ArcGIS exporer is? Also, I'd like to share a webapp with someone. The only way I know to do that is to email them the URL. Is there some way that they can actually download the app to their phone, instead of having to find the emailed link to follow?

I am very confused about what seems to be a disproportionately large storage size for a feature service I am hosting. The feature service contains 6 layers. It's item description page shows that the storage size is 509 mb. Because this seemed strange to me, and I couldn't figure out how to view the individual size of each layer, I decided to go back to my original arcgis pro project and publish each of these 6 layers as separate web layers. After doing so, I checked their individual sizes to see if things added up. Their combined size is nowhere near 509 mb (0.0781 mb + 0.0781 mb + 0.0781 mb + 0.1328 mb + 0.1172 mb + 0.1094 mb = 0.5937 mb). Am I missing something? I checked the settings for the service and have confirmed that drawing optimization was turned off. I also turned off editing for good measure. I can't figure out why this service is still so large? Any ideas? Also, this service used to have additional layers which I have since removed using arcgis online assistant (through the JSON), is it possible that the item description is still registering the old size?

Thanks so much! That was actually very helpful. I didn't know that I could split layers into individual services, so I was having a hard time when I wanted to update layers.

I am using ArcGIS Pro (basic license) to create a point feature class of project locations and information. I also have a client contact list that I would like to relate to the projects. This would be a many to many relationship as some projects have more than one client and some clients are associated with more than one project.. Unfortunately, since I am working with a basic license, I can't set up relationship classes (or so I assume, so if I'm wrong on this let me know). and doing a relate won't really help me since, as far as I know, the relate won't carry over to ArcGIS online. What I would like to be able to ultimately do in a web app, is to click on a project location and be able to see the client and client contact info without searching for it in a separate table. Is there any way to do this without having to set up relationship classes? Maybe there's some widget or tool that i could use to link over to a table or something? any ideas? I don't think doing a join would work since we're talking about a many to many relationship.

I have a point feature class, 'PROJECTS', with almost 3000 features and associated attributes. Around 1000 of those features have null geometry. I have created a second point feature class, 'MANUAL INPUT', including the missing points. Both feature classes have a common field that can be used to join, merge, etc. I would like to use the 'MANUAL INPUT' feature class to replace the missing points in 'PROJECTS'. I don't think append would work because I want the 'MANUAL INPUT' points to populate the corresponding fields in the 'PROJECTS' table that are missing geometry. Not sure how to do this, any ideas?

I am working on a map of various building locations (this is a point feature class) and parcels (polygon feature class). Each parcel has anywhere from 0 to many buildings on it (including parts of buildings) and conversely, each building is on one or more parcels (some buildings straddle parcels). I am creating the map in ArcGIS Pro and intend to publish it to ArcGIS Online. I am working with a 'basic' license of Pro, so I don't think I can create relationship classes. I would like to be able to relate the building and parcel information so that someone can view a parcel's information and see what buildings are related to it, and conversely view a building's information to see the related parcels. What is the best way to accomplish this?

I have a Web Feature Layer that is made up of 9 different layers. I would like to delete 3 of those. Can I do this without deleting the entire service? If not, what are my options if I don't want to recreate the web map and web app that reference this service? I am guessing that I could remove the 3 layers I want from the feature service, then save it under a different name, but then how can I change the data source of my web map to reference this new service? If this can;t be done either then what? I have arcgis pro so if my only option is to republish, can someone give me some guidance on how to export the feature service back to arcgis pro so that all the changes i made in arcgis online are carried over? In the future I plan to publish web layers separately to avoid this issue.
