Hello James Thank you for the information. I have set my parameters fro sharing, visualization and collaboration to the minimal while to having the Story Map visual to everyone. I guess what I was seeking was clarification on how the this type of data is used by ESRI, and if they use this information. Basically what are the privacy right to this information. I will have a good read on the links you provided, and maybe this will provide some clarification. Thanks Jessica

Hello I am trying to find out how my crowd sourcing story map data that is public is used by ESRI? I have created a crowd sourcing Story Map using an embedded Survey from the Survey 123, and I am asking for location data. People have asked me who has access to this data and who is it available to. I am assuming that as this is a crowd sourcing project, the information is available to all public users -is this correct? Looking for some clarification. Thanks Jessica

Hello Ismael I apologies for the late reply. I managed to get this sorted. I reached out to the ESRI creator of the crowd sourcing Story Map I was basing mine on, and he assisted me in solving the issue. Thanks again for your help. Jess

Hello again Ismael I have tried what you had suggested above, and when I test it by sending it to someone I still only see the entries when I log into my Esri. Is there something else that I have missed. I am happy to send/share my Story Map and layers to you. I am operating from my organization account and can share if you have an organization account that I could send to. Please let me know if there is anything I can do story maps Thanks Jess

Hello Ismael Thanks for the information. I am not to clear on your answer 3... Set the appropriate permissions in your new hosted feature layer and add that into your story map Including animation for step 2. I am assumming persmissions means...making the new created view layer to set as public under the share tab? for the last pars ...add this new layer to your story map....does this mean I add this layer to my embedded Map or embedded this view layer as my actual survey in the story map? Sorry I am a little confused. 🙂 Thanks Jess

Hello I am trying to crowed sources survey using Survey 123 embedded into my Story Map. When I get other entries (contributor that have completed the survey) to add their location and information, they are not visible on their Story Map screen. THere are only visible when I open my Story Map. I would like people to be able to click on other peoples entries and to have all the location visible on the embedded map. This seems possible as I believe I have seen this in our Story Maps. I have made the survey public, my map public and the story map public...so I do not know what else to do. Could someone please let direct me to how to do this...that is if this is possible. thanks Jess ArcGIS StoryMaps Survey123 for ArcGIS @EsriCanada

Hello I am currently trying to create a group and invite a individual with a online account through their university to my group. I believe I have made sure that I have set all privileges as required. I have searched for this individual via their email address associated with their account, as I found them. However, I keep getting this message when I click invite tab. Why is it so hard to share project through esri. I have spent countless hours reviewing these same question and I have tried every trick, but still have issue with groups and sharing information. Is there a way around using groups and not set your project to public, yet still sharing it with someone? Now I know this is error is with creating a groups from an organization but when I try creating a group not in my organization I get a bottom error (as seen in the bottom image). I hope someone can direct me to how to rectify this issue. Thank you Jess

Hello James If this is not a Survey 123 question then how can I get help with this? I appreciate the document sent, however I have tried to go through that document and video step by step, and I managed to have my photos bigger. However, I guess what I am hoping that that this will automatically be done when people add to my Embedded Survey in my Story Map. I am probably missing something here, but I do not see how I can do this. I would like any images add to the survey to look like the following image when clicking on a point on the web in my Story Map, and hoping this will be the case for when others add to my survey. I hope this makes sense. Thanks Jess

Hi James Yes that is kinda what I am trying to do. I have created a survey with questions that allow for photos and I then have open this survey up in my web-maps, and then Embedded it into my Story Map, but the picture are very small and have the survey question title on them. All I want to show is the Image and the responses to my question, when you click on the point on the map in my story map. I saw this is several story maps - for example is this story map by esri... Hi Owen Yes I guess this is more of a #Survey123 question, as that is exactly what I am trying to do. My images have been collected via a survey and I want them to be visible (without all the heading extra) when you click on the point data with the embedded map in my Story Map. Should I repost this question to the Survey 123 forum? Thanks Jess

Hello I am looking for assistance in configuring the pop-up of images which are part of my Survey 123 that I have embedded into my Story Map. Right now the images that are part of my survey are not showing up or are very small when I embed the map and survey to my Story Map. What I am hoping to achieve is to have the images appear in a post-it size image when you click on the location (point symbol) on my embedded map with the Story Maps platform. I have seen this done in other examples of a Story Map, but have no idea of what to do. I have had a search for this answer but they seem very confusing and complicated. I am hoping someone could direct me in this. Thanks you Jess

Hi Owen I have read that blog and I am still not too sure how I increase the width and height of the frame in the code? Meaning that I am not to sure in the url where I would or how I would increase this. In the blog it says to insert a background parameters as seen in the image below. This is my code... is this.... <style>.embed-container {position: relative; height: 0; padding-bottom:80%; max-width: 100%;} .embed-container iframe, .embed-container object, .embed-container iframe{position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%;} small{position: absolute; z-index: 40; bottom: 0; margin-bottom: -15px;}</style><div class="embed-container"><iframe name="survey123webform" width="500" height="400" frameborder="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" title="Tell Us Your Story: COVID19 Isolation & Self Distancing Stories" src="//survey123.arcgis.com/share/7590bf9a8f254da2b840f06f23468139" allow="geolocation https://survey123.arcgis.com; camera https://survey123.arcgis.com"></iframe></div><script>var survey123webform = document.getElementsByName('survey123webform')[0];window.addEventListener("message",e=>{if(e.data){var t=JSON.parse(e.data);"survey123:onFormLoaded"===t.event&&t.contentHeight&&(survey123webform.parentNode.style.height=t.contentHeight+"px")&&(survey123webform.parentNode.style["padding-bottom"]="unset")}});</script> Where in this url would I insert the command to increase the width of my survey in my Story Map. Thanks Jess

Hello My question is regarding Story Maps. I have created a survey with the Survey 123 web app and I have embedded it into my Story Map but I would like to see all the question in the survey without the right hand scroll bar. Is this possible? I saw this in a Esri example "Share your Earth Place' and I would like to replicate this in my Story Map (see link below). ArcGIS StoryMaps Thanks Jess
