Thanks for the reply @AyanPalit. But what if I created the lines from linear events using oracle or ArcMap LRS. Do I still need to use ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing tools?

I am migrating pipeline data to UPDM(2019). The current pipeline database has geometric network that needs to be migrated to Utility Network in UPDM. I have mapped the relevant feature classes i.e pipeline feature class containing the pipeline' geometries and attributes is mapped to PipelineLine feature class in UPDM. But there are other tables in my database that have the linear line events on those pipelines. As per the document "it is possible to replace the Centerline featureclass with the PipelineLine featureclass", so my question is if the PipelineLine feature class has the actual geometry of the pipelines where would I store line events in UPDM?

It worked but completed with warnings. Also do I have to delete the extra feature classes?, for example the data I have won't have linear referencing, P_Centerline, P_CenterlineAccuracy etc. Do I need to delete these feature classes?

Thanks for the reply. In asset package I am giving the changed asset package according to my spatial reference system and in utility network(UN) parameter I am giving test_ne UN. test_ne has only StructureLine.

I am using Utility Network Data Management implementation pattern stated in Implementation-Patterns-for-UPDM-2019. When I run the Apply Asset Package tool to load schema only, it fails with following error: EXCEPTION Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\ESRI\conda\envs\arcgispro-py3-clone\Lib\site-packages\untools\common\wrappers.py", line 106, in wrapper return func(*args, **kwargs) File "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\ESRI\conda\envs\arcgispro-py3-clone\Lib\site-packages\untools\gptools\tools.py", line 525, in run **kwargs) File "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\ESRI\conda\envs\arcgispro-py3-clone\Lib\site-packages\untools\utility_network\ap.py", line 254, in __init__ self._properties: dict = self._initialize(kwargs.pop('cache', None)) File "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\ESRI\conda\envs\arcgispro-py3-clone\Lib\site-packages\untools\common\wrappers.py", line 317, in wrapper result = func(*args, **kwargs) File "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\ESRI\conda\envs\arcgispro-py3-clone\Lib\site-packages\untools\utility_network\ap.py", line 309, in _initialize s.main(xml_un) File "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\ESRI\conda\envs\arcgispro-py3-clone\Lib\site-packages\untools\utils\ap_to_xml.py", line 268, in main self.remove_extra_domain_networks() File "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\ESRI\conda\envs\arcgispro-py3-clone\Lib\site-packages\untools\utils\ap_to_xml.py", line 166, in remove_extra_domain_networks to_remove.setdefault(source.dataset_type, set()).add(source.name.lower()) AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'dataset_type'

Thanks for the reply Ayan. But the current database does not have UN either. It has a geometric network (GN), so do I need to create UN from GN? or just map the feature classes of database to the respective UPDM feature classes?

Can I migrate geometric network data to UPDM(2019) without linear referencing? I have two databases storing pipeline data. One is spatial and the other is non-spatial. The spatial has one geometric network and other simple feature classes. I need to perform migration from those databases to one centralized database, UPDM,2019. This is very simple data as it does not have any utility network or any linear referencing. I have seen the data template of UPDM. It has a utility network containing center-lines, calibration points etc. that are used for pipeline linear referencing. My question is, can I transform my data to updm without linear referencing? Because, I have seen some feature classes in UPDM, they contain route_id. The data is huge, so if LRS is needed, how would I able to transform the data? What is best practice in such sceneries? Can someone give me a guide line to implement this?

I want to synchronize some datasets and feature classes from Oracle to MS SQL Server using ArcMap replication tools. Both databases are geodatabase enabled. I don't want to replicate/synchronize data in real time but only once a day. I have created one-way replica(parent to child), it works fine for the edits that are made in that version. But data in that version is different from the one in base tables(oracle), so to reflect those changes I have to unregister as versioned and compress edits to base. If I make some changes, unregister as versioned and compress edits to base and then again register as versioned to run synchronization, but unfortunately those changes are not reflected in replica in SQL Server. Since I want to run replication once a day, if I make several edits, I want to make sure that those changes are there in base table(oracle) and if I unregister and compress then synchronization will not reflect all changes in replica(SQL server). Is there any way through which I can maintain that version so that all changes are synced in SQL server and whatever the edits are made in that version also reflected in base tables?
