Oh okay, bummer! With some luck in my organization perhaps we will host our StoryMap on AGOL and I can use the new(er) features 🙂 Thanks for the response!

Hello, Thank you, but as I said in my reply, it does not work. When I copy and paste the link to the content: I get the message that "This website does not support inline embedding". I am using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 as well if that helps to find a solution. Thank you.

Hahaha thanks! It is part of the story 🙂 So when I paste the link directly as an embed in the story, it still looks like this: I am certainly okay embedding the tweet as is, and was only using TwitFrame as I was roughly trying to follow the guidelines here. The screenshot you have provided is exactly what I want 🙂 I am just confused as to why it doesn't seem to work on my end. Thanks!

Hi, I am trying to embedd a tweet into a story (Sidecar Narrative) and although I can find documentation for this, and examples my card says: "this website does not support inline embedding". I am not sure what I am doing wrong? I am trying to embedd the following: <iframe border=0 frameborder=0 height=250 width=550 src="https://twitframe.com/show?url= http://twitter.com/Canucks/status/1286345478293118978” ”></iframe> When I click the card it does go to the right link, but I want the tweet to show in the story as seen here. Thanks!

Hi Keera! I have tried to refresh the model, re-started my machine, and tried hours later and the records are still persisting. Please see the images below: I have double checked the geodatabase and the layer is not present there. Thanks, Brian

Hi, When I try to delete my Land Use Type Layer that I have added, nothing happens. The process takes place but the records "remain". When I try to connect in Pro to the Urban database, the layer doesn't exist. I then try to see if I can create a Land Use Plan and also receive an error. Is there a bug I am unaware of? Thank you! Brian

Hi Dominik, Thanks for your response! It was specific to how the different types depend on each other. I think that while we understand the dependencies, as I noted previously our zoning and land use regulations are quite complex and understanding how these components interact and influence each other isn't completely clear given the complex nature. We are right now trying to best understand how to implement our cities zoning and land use regulations into the Urban environment on top of numerous area specific plans, development plans, city-wide policies etc. and I think my initial question was a bit premature until we really dig into our work and gain clarity on what we are trying to achieve. In time I hope we are able to ask more specific questions. Thank you

Hi! Sorry for all the questions as of late! We are really digging into Urban and trying our best to apply our cities complexities to the environment as best we can I was wondering, if there was a diagram illustrating the data links between uses to help manage how to best set up the core datasets. We have defined Space Use Types, Zoning Types are prepared and allowable space use types have been attributed, and are now trying to define Building Types based on our city's building typologies and are trying to build the linkages to building parts via the defined Space Use Types. This gets quite complex as we have approximately 190 Space Use Types defined and trying to work out the proper links for best use. In addition, we know that scenarios are more than likely to be based upon changes in zoning and the actual reflection of existing scenarios may not play a big role, but still want our model to be a reflection of our Zoning and Land Use. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, I was wondering if you can pre-define parcel edge info? I understand parcel edges are being defined in scenarios, which makes sense as developing plausible buildings would only be in a scenario, but wanted to know if there was a way of having the parcel edges pre-defined so that plausible buildings would be generated without modifications to the parcel edges as they are unlikely to be manipulated in reality from the existing situation. I tried accessing the parcel edges in the database but you can only see as is (no defined edges) and could not find anywhere how the schema is set up after defining scenario based parcels so that I could define for existing conditions. Thank you! Brian

Hello, I was just wondering if there is a plan to extend ArcGIS Urban capabilities to handle multiple inputs for 3D Base Layers? For instance, if there are multiple sources of existing buildings (for your city), it would be fantastic to have the capability to have multiple inputs. Thus far I can't determine a non time exhausting exercise to merge multiple existing Scene Layers (maybe there is a workflow I am not thinking of/missing)? Any comments would be appreciated and helpful! Thank you!

Hello! Okay great, again I assumed so but wasn't sure. I imported from a spreadsheet and I eventually did discover the problem (an internal one) where there was a discrepancy between the source of the same dataset. Very happy for your help - thank you so much! Brian

Hi Dominik Allemann, Thanks for the quick response! My "Zoning Types" was downloaded directly from my "Zoning Boundaries" layer as I was under the assumption the CustomID (Zoning Types) would need to match the "Zoning Type" field and yet it still is invalidated. Can an issue be caused by one dataset containing 800 records and the other 1000? For instance, if my "Zoning Boundaries" has separated multi-part polygons? Thanks!

Hello, I am having issues loading my Zoning District layer (Zoning Boundaries) into the Urban environment. I keep getting validation errors but there is no information as to what these errors are, and the help document does not contain any useful information for troubleshooting such an issue. As far as I know and am aware my "Zoning Boundaries" match my Zoning Types I have uploaded. Any help is appreciated!
