Is there a way to change the look and feel of the timeslider widget in Web Appbuilder? Right now its a transparent, dark-gray background, but is there a way to make it look like this?

Hello, I have a feature layer of locations that have original open dates but some of the locations have multiple instances where the location closed and opened again on more than two occasions. I know the time slider can be set with an open field and a closed field, but is there a way to have the time slider work where some features have multiple open and close dates? Thanks!

Good morning Alix! I see why it did not work... The preset values are only applicable to new feature creation. Presets do not apply when updating existing features. I need something to be able to force the user to update the date when updating a feature, since I cannot automatically populate an existing one with the current date.

Hello, I am creating an application that shows the contiguous United States. I have set the view extent to load properly when opening the application on desktop. However, when opening on a mobile device or smaller screen, the map does not open at the same extent. It is more zoomed in than it should be. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Thanks!

Derek, Is it possible to have it set up so that the respective dashboard (desktop or mobile) will show based on screen size? How would I go about doing this?

Hi Jim, Thanks for the helpful blogs! I am almost where I want to be. I used a combination of the mode and objectId URL parameters and it did update a specific record. My questions are two-fold: 1) how do I set it up so that the objectId can update any record? 2) Do I have to keep typing in the URL parameters every time I want to update a record? How do I make them permanent? I am using the latest version of Survey123 Connect. Do I put this in the XLS form? Thanks again!

Hello, I have an existing feature service containing countries with other attribute data for each country. I used Survey123 Connect to create a survey to update the attribute data. I am successfully able to create and publish the survey, and even when I complete the survey online, I receive a message saying the data is sent successfully. However, the results from the survey are being added to the feature service and not overwriting the existing data, so I have multiple entries now of the same country when submitting the data. FYI- The supportsApplyEditsWithGlobalIds is already set to true. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Robert, I am trying your method on a layer, where I have a field named "level" and and another field named "date." I would like it so that whenever the level field is changed, the date field must be changed as well. So, should I put in an expression regarding the level field, after clicking the pencil for the required date field?

I am trying the steps for option #2 like you mentioned. I get the red asterisk next to the field I want the user to have to change but it still allows them to save without changing.
