@tthomas9 generally we recommend clients receive imagery in Cloud Optimised Geotiff format. (COG). Yes it it is larger in size but hen it is compatable with more software tools and retains the native pixel value

@tthomas9 the 4x is just a general estimate. ECW's are highly a compressed imagery format. It all depnds on the compression applied to the image to estimate the storage required

Hello @tthomas9 This could be a function of available storage or available RAM. The 656 gb ECW will blow up to a Tile cache of 4x the size and then you would need roughly the same size again to create the tile package. So I would be looking here to start with. Cheers Gordon

@AlexWellsYSE I am thinking the issue you see here is that the source imagery is GRID. This format is not one file but a complex structure. As a rule of thumb if I get these format images datasets I convert them to 32Bit tiff files. These then beome single files that are accessed by the Mosaic dataset and makes it simpler to process before loading to ArcGIS Online.

Hey @RachelS, Ok so you have tried the stuff I would normally check. Now I would try the USB cable connecting to the controller. Change this out an see if it makes a difference. Aside from this maybe David @dozer has an idea. Perhaps can you list the current Phantom Firmware you have. This page lists the supported versions as well https://community.esri.com/t5/imagery-and-remote-sensing-blog/site-scan-flight-for-arcgis-matrix-of-supported/ba-p/1009544 cheers Gordon

Hello @RachelS I have seen this when the DJ software is running or other Drone controller software. Two things I would check 1) Ensure no software is running on the iPad before starting Site Scan Flight LE. 2) Make sure the Phantom 4 Firmware is up-to-date. This may also be a cause Cheers Gordon

@JM32 From reading your process you have done everything correctly as it displays correctly in ArcGIS Pro. I am thinking you may need to Refresh the service as in this document. https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/services-reference/enterprise/refreshservice.htm Additionally, you may need to refresh the REST cache as per this document https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/enterprise-administration/server/handlersrestcacheclear.htm

@JM32 The challenge with a large image cache is that it needs to be continually updated with new image acquisitions so the most recent imagery is always present. This is done by building Mosaic Datasets for the newly acquired imagery. Caching these Mosaic Datasets and then replacing the tiles in the Master cache with the new cache tiles. The process is as follows: Build Mosaic Dataset and add rasters for (Updated areas) Optimise the image footprints to exclude No Data Build Footprints Create Tile Cache using Manage Tile Cache with same Tiling Scheme used previously Append updated Cache to existing cache using Import Tile Cache

@StormwaterAdmin SOme questions for you based on your covergae. 1) When you flew the area dis you have at least 70% image covergae? 2) What type of flight pattern dod you fly? Area Survey, CrossHatch, Random? 3) Can you show a screen capture of your flight pattern 4) for the stitching method you should use higher density point clouds if oyu have sparce image coverage, as it is this characteristic that D2M uses to tie image points together Cheers Gordon

Hello @PMB-PCL Today, the current version of the flight app is limited to the drones and lenses listed in the article Matrix of Supported Drones, Cameras, and Lenses. There has not been any change to this list. The Site Scan is working on a newer version of the flight app. However, in the meantime the Site Scan team continues to enhance and upgrade Site Scan Manager cloud application. It supports a wide variety of imagery from many differnt drones and is providing tighter integration with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise. In the first half of next year you will see some significant improvements in the platform. Cheers Gordon

Hello @forestknutsen1 you are almost there. You simply need to populate the Order Base Value with date in the future. For example 2050/01/01. Once this is set, the Image Service will always put the most recent ontop followed by the Z-order value.
