Hello! I would like to add that we are also running into the same issue. We have a survey that needs to be able to function after a draft is saved. We have a field that calculates the count of fields in a repeat. This works fine initially, but after you save the draft and re-open, the calculated field clears and no longer calculates. This has implications across other parts of our workflow. We have a PDF report that uses this calculated field as logic in the report. So when the field is incorrect, not only is the data incorrect, but now their reports are as well. Any update on when this bug will be fixed?

Hi, I am creating a survey that has a lot of external csv choice lists. Some lists only have a few rows, some have ~90 rows. When I create a report, these values appear blank.. Does the report syntax need to change if the type is select_one_from_file? I could not find any documentation about this. Thanks!

Thanks Barbara! This notation seems to pass the first go-around of checks for Reports, but when I go to preview sample reports, I just get the generic error message below: The task failed because all reports failed to run convertToPdf. I just attached the sample report that I am trying to run. Do you see any glaring issues with the notation there? Thanks!

Hello, I've got a survey that utilizes the multiline images. I am now trying to create a Report that displays all of the images that were taken for that question. However, when I create the report, it only displays the first image. What is the syntax needed to display all images? Below is what I am currently using, with a screenshot of the relevant XLSform fields. Thanks in advanced! Syntax in Report: Photos ${TC2_p | size:188:0:0:300} XLSform Field:

Shwu-jingJeng, I believe my request is actually the opposite. I want to use a select_multiple to populate a text field using the pulldata() function. Does that make sense? I've attached a screenshot of the relevant section in my xls form for more context.

Is it possible to use the pulldata() function from a select_multiple question type? What I am trying to do: I have a normal select_multiple question. If the user selects something in that question, I want certain text to appear below. I am using an external csv lookup file in the Media folder because these lookup tables can get pretty lengthy. If the user selects multiple options, I want all the options in the lookup table to appear. However, I cannot seem to get the question to display any text! When I change my first question type to select_one it works just fine. Am I missing something in my syntax? I've included screenshots below if that helps. pulldata('Findings_Citations_Lookup','Citation','FindingCode',${SS2_f})

Barbara, This seemed to solve the issue! The next issue I am seeing now is that I would like to display all photos within a multiline photos question type. Is that possible?

Ah, okay. I didn't know it needed to include both placeholders. Now that I've included both placeholders, it passes the validation. But when I try to run a sample report, it comes up with a generic "error" (below) Is this syntax correct?: ${#SC1} ${if (SC1 | getValue:"count")>=0}Drainage inlet protection Type ${SC1_ft} Location ${SC1_l} Findings(s) ${SC1_f} Notes ${SC1_n} Photos ${SC1_p1 | size:375:0:0:600}${/}${/}

Barbara, I've updated the values to caps, but it looks like it is still finding an error: Error: An error occurred when checking the report template. Failed to parse ${SC1_ft}. The field name or parameters cannot be found in the current parsing scope.

Thanks, Barbara. Using that syntax still produces an error for me: Error: An error occurred when checking the report template. Failed to parse ${if (sc1 | getValue:"count")>=0}. The field name or parameters cannot be found in the current parsing scope.

Hello! I am trying to build a report that displays repeat groups in a report. Not all of these repeat groups are required, so I only want to show which groups have records in the report. However, I keep running into the error: An error occurred when checking the report template. Failed to parse ${sc1}. The field name or parameters cannot be found in the current parsing scope. I am at my witts end. I believe I have the syntax correct and have triple checked everything, but it still will not work! Here is an example of the repeat group with conditionals. Ideally I put this in a nicely formatted table, but I am still just trying to figure out the syntax: repeat group = sc1 each question within the group is then labeled sc1_l, sc1_f, etc. ${#sc1}${if sc1}Drainage Inlet Protection Location ${sc1_l} Type ${sc1_ft} Findings(s) ${sc1_f} Notes ${sc1_n} Photos ${sc1_p1 | size:375:0:0:600}${/}${/sc1} Am I missing something here?? Thanks.

I got stuck at the overland connectors. I ended up abandoning this project due to the errors in ArcHydro.. Perhaps Christine Dartiguenave has another fix?
