I was just coming back to update from some troubleshooting and testing and I was going to report something similar to what Robert shared with the ArcGIS Pro BUG back in 2020. I did try sharing the geocode service url directly to the organization instead of making an ArcGIS Online item first. And this worked! Briefly... It worked for searching and geocoding in ArcGIS Pro 3.7 initially, but at some point it stopped functioning again. I don't know how long it took for it to stop, I tested a bit and it was working then I walked away from it for awhile and when I came back it was no longer working. I am leaning towards it being a compatibility issue. I'm going to keep testing as I have time. Thank you both for the responses.

Geocode service published to ArcGIS Server 10.8.1 not functioning in ArcGIS Pro 3.6 or 3.7. I maintain and manage geocode services I published to ArcGIS Server 10.8.1, I then created ArcGIS Online locators from them that I shared to my Organization. So these locators just default to any user logging in to ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro. I first created the locators in ArcGIS Pro 3.3. or 3.4 (I can't quite fully remember) and I have since been rebuilding the locators and overwriting the services monthly with no issue. I have recently updating my ArcGIS Pro from 3.5.5 to 3.7 and did a rebuild and overwrite. And now these shared locators do not work in ArcGIS Pro 3.6 or 3.7 as the shared Organization locators, is this a known issue? Or a bug? To try and be as clear as possible, the published geocode services work in ArcGIS Online and work if I pull the service in to ArcGIS Pro 3.7 directly from a server connection. They just do not work when trying to use them as the Organization shared locators in ArcGIS Pro. Is there compatibility matrix I am unaware of that has this information? Any input or help is appreciated! Kindly, Jot

I am an admin of our AGO platform for a local government and often get requests from division and department heads for hourly views of certain public facing applications. Specifically application that are used to share with the public outage/alert/warnings details. It is very handy that we can see the rolling past 24 hour period for usage/views by the hour for an application. But, I often get request to go back and look and previous events months or years in the past during specific events, and when doing this you can only see the item views/usage by a daily total count. I would like to have the ability to pick any date and see hourly hits, not just the past 24 hours.

Has this been solved? Either with a fix or notice from esri that this is a confirmed bug? I have a user within my organization that is having the same experience.

The idea is to have esri build a default role or be able to create a custom role in AGO to give that role admin privileges to a specific set of content. I am trying to create a custom role that allows said role to have admin rights to managing content with sharing status set to Organization, Public and content in groups this custom role is in. I want this role to be able to edit/update metadata, update sharing status, change owner, tag and categorize... The current way the custom roles configuration works seems to only allow "all or nothing" with the administrative privileges. Meaning this role has access to all content on AGO or none and I only want this role to have access to manage content shared to the Organization, Publicly or groups it is in. Might be a me problem I am facing, but curious if anyone else is in a similar situation?

Thanks Jacob! the article clarifies things. It seems like what I am after doesn't exist. I should have been clearer with my question. I want a user that has forgotten their password and security question and or has never logged in, be able to request a password reset without admin help. Something like must other websites use. For example, I forget my password to my insurance company login and I'll click to link for a forgot password. It will then send an email to me with a link to reset password. No prompts for questions that the user never remembers and no admin. Just allow the user to reset their own forgotten password. At the end of the day it is not a big deal, I was just wondering if that options existed with AGOL.

Is there a way to allow an AGOL user send themselves a password reset email? In our organization we have several admins that all receive the password reset request from users by default and to save time and confusion between who will respond to request and not send multiple password reset emails, I was wondering if it is possible to just let the users handle? Not a big deal at all, there are other internal solutions, I was just curious if this is an option?

While building address locators to eventually use in a composite locator I keep seeing the term SingleKey. Can someone explain to me what it actually is? Does it just refer to the attribute field the locator was built off? If not, should I replace the SingleKey field with the actual field(s) I want to use for input mapping and input address fields? Any clarification would be help as I cannot find any ESRI reference material describing SingleKey. Thanks! Jot

Mark, thank you for looking into this. Yea, I'm not sure what went wrong, but i clearly screwed up something. And thank you for creating a working .vtpk! It's about 1/3 of the size of the one I created that didn't work, so that's great too! Thanks again Kindly, Jot

So is this the reason why, even after I follow these steps, I get an 'invalid map' response when I download and try to open in Explorer app on my iPad and iPhone? In addition to this, your IPad App will also need to know how to use the custom style associated with the Vector Tile Package, this work is being done in ArcGIS Runtime update 7 - both Pro and Runtime updates schedule to be complete before the end of this year. If so, do you have a better time frame as to when the Runtime update will happen? Or has it already happened and I need to manually update something on my ios devices?

I would like to use one of esri's basemaps like: streets, navigation or topographic as a layer, along with my own parcel and address point data to create a vector tile package. Is this possible? I am working on building a mobile map package along with water infrastructure data that can be used in ArcGIS Explorer as a reference map when field crews need something to view in an offline environment. I was thinking if I could use the already existing basemaps when creating a .vktp it could cut down on some of my build and re-build time of an offline reference map for Explorer. Any thoughts or answers would be helpful! Thanks, Jot

No, it still does not work the way I'd like while using the find tool. The only difference I can tell from previous locator tools we've created and used and what we're trying to build now is the input field description. Single Line Input: for old working locator compared to: Full Address Input: does not work the way I'd like Is this the issue? do I need my locator to accept single line input and not full address? if so, how do I do that. Again. Also, if I use in ArcPro it works. Just not in ArcMap. But, I need it to work in ArcMap. All properties the same. If you don't think the input description is part of the issue, I can look into sharing the locator and let you review further. Thanks!

I'm using the same single house locator, I built locally, in both Pro 2.2.4 and ArcMap 10.6.1. And when searching addresses in Pro it works better. My issue is I do not want to have to type out the exact address to return a match. And in Pro I don't have to but in ArcMap I do. Example in Pro: search for: 123 main will return a match for: 123 west main ave, (State name) In ArcMap: search for: 123 main won't return a match. I would need to type out the whole address: 123 west main ave, (State name) to get a match. Question: Is there setting or property of some sort I need to adjust to get the locator to function more leniently in ArcMap? Like it does in Pro? Again, using the exact same locator in both.
