Web application development skills are in high demand. By completing the course, you're demonstrating 1) that you are committed to professional development and staying current with technology, and 2) you have familiarity and skills with Esri's very popular product used to create and publish web apps. Both of these factors play well with hiring managers, especially in the GIS field. 🙂

Hi @BenMansbridge , at this time it's not possible to transfer ownership of an Esri Academy learning plan. Our team is working on a tool that would support this but I don't have a release date. We understand there's a good use case. 🙂

Esri technical certifications require valid proof of identity (presented in person at a Pearson VUE test center or via their secure online exam proctoring). Hi @JonJones1, while Advantage Program does include credits that can be applied toward training, one of the main program benefits is that you get a dedicated technical advisor who can help you navigate your migration and other strategic GIS initiatives, and pull in Esri experts as needed. Regarding training access specifically, another option is to purchase prepaid training days through the Esri Training Pass (training days can be applied toward individual seats in public classes, private training classes for a group, and other products) and redeem them as needed. Hi Jayne, while Esri training courses are not directly mapped to the SFIA, our curriculum is built on many of the same categories (data management and visualization, database design, data engineering, big data/analytics, machine learning, and others)—so we have alignment with SFIA without directly mapping to it. We are, however, in the process of mapping our courses to the GIS Body of Knowledge.

During this time, you will not be able to access web courses, training seminars, ArcGIS labs, and videos. When the system update is complete, you may resume your e-Learning in progress or start new e-Learning. If you are planning to continue your progress in the Make an Impact with Modern Geo Apps MOOC on Saturday, this system update does not affect you—MOOC access will not be impacted by the system update.

Hi @DiepVu , you will get assigned ArcGIS Online credentials inside the MOOC (username and initial password). Look for your account information on the Lessons tab of the course interface.
