Hi @Anonymous User , Apologies for the delayed response. Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this. Two weeks is the max limit token expiration for a regular or oauth access token. Thanks, Jeff

Jonathan Quinn is correct. Whether creating preplanned offline map areas in the ArcGIS Enterprise portal or defining and downloading an offline map area directly on your device (i.e. in Collector for ArcGIS), almost all of the processing is being done by the ArcGIS Server.

Hi April, A couple of quick questions for you: What version of ArcGIS Enterprise are you running? Are you republishing the data in ArcGIS Enterprise before adding to your web maps? Is so, are they being published as hosted feature services? Is the data identical between your ArcGIS Online web maps and your ArcGIS Enterprise web maps? Thanks, Jeff

Thanks for the info Deniz! Was this Portal upgraded for a previous version? As an admin can you check the following: 1. Log in to the Portal Admin API at the following endpoint https://machinename.domain.com/webadaptorname/portaladmin/system/indexer 2. Click Index Status and wait for the page results to load. Once a page loads, you will see a report similar to the following: 4. If some of the results are highlighted in red, your Portal may need to be re-indexed. Navigate back to the following endpoint https://machinename.domain.com/webadaptorname/portaladmin/system/indexer. Click Reindex, in the Mode drop-down select Full. Click the Reindex button and wait. 5. After the Reindex is complete. Check the Index Status (Step 2) again. If none of the results are highlighted in red, open up your Portal and attempt to create a Feature Layer from a Template. Let me know if this works. Thanks, Jeff

Hi Nezahat, Can we get a little more information from you? What operating system is your Portal installed on? What language is your Portal set to? It looks like Turkish, but I want to double-check. What is the exact workflow you are following? Are you on the Content page and clicking Create > Feature Layer > From Template? Which feature layer template are you trying to create? Is it the Field Interviews template? Are you able to create a feature layer from any feature layer template? Thanks! Jeff

Hi Pawel, I can't seem to reproduce this on my end. Can you answer a few more questions for me? Was your 10.6 Portal upgraded from a previous version? If so, can you check your index for the Portal? You will need to log into the Portal Admin API and navigate to https://portalmachine.domain.com/webadaptor/portaladmin/system/indexer and click index status. If any of the index values are highlighted red, you may need to reindex your Portal. Can you try opening the browser developer tools and monitor the network traffic when clicking Save after updating the Organization Description? It would be beneficial to know the request response from the https://portalmachine.domain.com/webadaptor/sharing/rest/portals/self/update request that is made. Thanks, Jeff

Hi Pawel, Thanks for the text. Is this text being modifed in any way with extra HTML? Is your organization language set to English or another language? Can you try the following: 1. Remove any text from Organization Description. 2. Click Save. 3. Open Edit Setting again and manually type in the text for your organization description (do not copy the text from another source like Word). Make sure you are typing the text within the text editor and not editing the HTML source (as per the referenced technical article). 3. Click Save. Let me know if that works. Thanks, Jeff

Hi Michael and Matt, In Portal for ArcGIS, the '-1' value for 'Max Token Expiration Minutes' represents a default of two weeks (or 20,160 minutes) validity for access tokens. In addition to being the default value, 2 weeks also represents the max expiration value acceptable for access tokens - attempting to update this value to anything greater than 20,160 will not be accepted by the software. This is not explicitly stated in the Portal documentation - we will work to improve the info on the referenced doc page in future releases: Specify the default token expiration time—Portal for ArcGIS (10.6) | ArcGIS Enterprise. Let me know if this helps. Thanks, Jeff

Hi Gareth, I'd like to be able to include the current map scale in the labels for a feature in Portal 10.5.1. The documentation on this page suggests that only the feature to be labelled is available as a global variable in Arcade expression https://developers.arcgis.com/arcade/guide/profiles/#labelling However within the playground section on the same site the current map scale is available under the labelling profile. If I try to use the map scale global in an Arcade label expression on a layer in a Portal 10.5.1 web map I get an error about the view identifier not being found. You are correct here - the only global variable currently available for the labeling profile is $feature and the global $view.scale will not work in Portal 10.5.1. There is a bug in the playground environment and we are actively working to correct that. Thanks for pointing it out! My question is will the map scale global be available in later versions of Portal? As of now there are no concrete plans for adding $view.scale to the labeling profile. If you don't mind me asking, what is your use case for wanting to include current map scale in labels for a feature in 10.5.1? Hope this helps! Thanks, Jeff

Hi Jay, What operating system is your ArcGIS Enterprise deployed on - specifically the machine running ArcGIS Server? If your ArcGIS Server site is installed on Windows Server 2016 and is set as the hosting server, you are required to enable SSL 3.0 in the Internet Explorer options for that server machine (this option is disabled by default). If your ArcGIS Server site has multiple nodes, you must enable this option on each server machine. This will allow hosted scene layer caches to be built. Note, depending on the size of the data being published, the cache building process may take some time. I noticed you have already seen the troubleshooting steps for scenes and 3D data. If you are operating on Windows 2016, please try the steps listed in this Tech Support Article. Thanks, Jeff
